Shock rock veteran Rob Zombie has announced that he will be entering the studio soon to record his fifth studio album. Rejoining him for the album will be drummer John Tempesta, as well as Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison. A message from Rob Zombie reads:

"Well, I will be heading back into the studio next week to record several new tracks with John, Piggy and Joey. These are some of the fastest, heaviest tracks we have recorded in a long, long time. These songs will available in September."

Damn, I haven't even listened to Hellbilly Deluxe 2 yet. I'm sure Rob Zombie/Joey Jordison will be worth making a point to hear, though...

There was NO mention of an album. It'll probably be an internet-only release of a few tracks. I wouldn't get too hype about this yet. Hellbilly Deluxe 2 was weak. It sounded like Zombie, but didn't deliver like Hellbilly Deluxe 1 or Sinister Urge. They were made on a grander scale. They should have called it Educated Horses 2.

Well, my lady is a HUGE RZ fan, so I actually took the time to listen to it a few days ago and i've gotta say I like HBD2. I don't like "What?", but other than that I think it's a pretty solid album. John 5's work on the album is impecable, and with a few exceptions (the formentioned and Mars Needs Women) the lyrics written are pretty bad a$$. I'm looking forward to the next CD. I should mention though that my initial feelings on this release were mirrored in the comments above but after taking the time and giving it a chance I liked it.

P.S. I'm glad that Zombie is making a new album. I just hope that he puts it on a CD because I'm still part of the group that still buys them. I read an article that said that he and his buddies were going to do some thing unique with it because of all the "dinosaurs" slaking off and the DEGENERATE F**********LES who are too lazy to go out and buy the damn CD. So Rob, please put it out on CD first(please)..........Thank You and Goodnight.

This is good to hear.. I really liked HBD2, it does beat the crap out of educated horses in my opinion and The man who laughs is a very cool song. However, I doubt anything he does will be as good as the first HBD
