Rotting Christ has issued the following announcement about canceling several upcoming festival appearances:
"Unfortunately it seems that the Gods have rolled the dice and decided that 2010 will be a year of cancellations for the Rotting Christ Horde. Due to the slow recovery of front man Sakis’ broken leg, he has been urged to follow medical advice to avoid any further complications, and the band has sadly no option but to cancel the first part of their summer festival tour."
The following dates are affected:
2 July 2010 Metalshow lv-Riga-(LATVIA)
3 July 2010 Hard Rock Laager Festival-Vana Vigala (ESTONIA)
4 July 2010 Mulen Ruzas-Vilnius (LITHUANIA)
6 July 2010 Randal-Bratislava (SLOVAKIA)
7 July 2010 Planetnoir Metal Stage-Pecs-(HUNGARY)
8 July 2010 Metal Camp-Tolmin (SLOVENIA)
Vocalist Sakis Tolis also commented: "We would like to express from the depths of our soul our frustration having to make this decision, and we promise our brothers and sisters that the band will be be back in the battlefield from the 15th July onwards."
