Malevolence Begins Preproduction, Seeks Replacement Guitarist

Malevolence has completed works upon the first part of their pre-production material for their long awaited 3rd full-length effort. Titles such as: Devoured Unlimited, The Strength Of The Dead Men, Slithering Angels, Mechanisms Of Destruction and Disobedience are all ready and prepared for recording on the beginning of 2004. The band is currently in direct contact with Pierre Remillard (Kataklysm, Krisiun, Malevolent Creation, Gorguts, Obliveon) and according to the band there’s a mammoth prospect Pierre will work with them both as sound engineer and producer upon the recording procedures for their new album. Works on the 2 nd half part of the pre-production will start soon.

Malevolence has also amicably parted ways with guitarist Frederico. Frederico was a member of Malevolence since 1998 and recorded with the band the most successful work of their career so far under the title Martyrialized. Carlos Cariano stated recently:

“Fred is that kind of person no matter where he is, he makes mammoth friends all over the place! The same happened with us and we are all blood brothers since day one. But as life is an ever-changing highway, we have come to a time when we all think going separate ways, is the best to pursuit our individual chances on the music industry! Respect to him and the best of luck with all his upcoming endeavors!”

Frederico will make the upcoming scheduled shows with the band and will furthermore contribute with ideas to the upcoming record as stated by the band.
