Down Delays New DVD, "Diary Of A Mad Band" Release Date
New Orleans based supergroup Down, featuring former Pantera members Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown, along with Eyehategod's Jimmy Bower, Crowbar's Kirk Windstein and Corrosion Of Conformity's Pepper Keenan, has announced that they have been forced to delay the release of their new DVD, "Diary Of A Mad Band." A statement from the band reads as follows:
"As you all are aware Down was scheduled to release their movie Diary Of A Mad Band today. Due to recent legal issues the release has been postponed to a later date as these issues get resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may have caused. Please be assured that a new release date will be forthcoming and will be posted immediately after it is confirmed. We thank you all for your loyalty and support."
The Diary Of A Mad Band CD/DVD is due out E1 Music and captures Down in all its sludged out intensity. This special DVD/CD collection features over 130 minutes of live video footage + a full never-before-released concert. The CD is different from the DVD.

guest... you are probably right about that...
but come on, hell!
this is DOWN (true Sab/early Ozz fans)...and yes, THEY actually ARE truly crazy :)
give em some well entitled slack...this band is SO fvcking hell-baked that they probably thought they were the first to come up with such a brilliant title poach
and you know...they deserve all the best of whatever may come
i've been down with DOWN since NOLA was in its 'revolver' phase, what...about '93???
seen 'em less than two years ago...and it was fvcking ALL TIME
SERIOUSLY underrated band...

That's a bummer but it is well worth the wait!!! They(DOWN) posted 2 extra songs on their myspace page because of the delayed release of the DVD, "Invest In Fear", and an acoustic version of "Stone The Crow", as well as some video footage. Thought I would mention it for anyone who wants to check it out.
