Edenbridge Parts Ways With Bassist Simon Holzknecht

Austrian metallers Edenbridge recently finished the recording of their 7th studio album, entitled "Solitaire," which will be released in May 2010. The band has now issued the following update about parting ways with their bassist:

"Simon Holzknecht has left Edenbridge due to personal reasons! Edenbridge wish him all the best for the future! Passion, personality, live experience and of course playing technique. If you think you can bring all this, you should not hesitate to apply for the vacant bass player position in Edenbridge! Your application with photo goes to info@edenbridge.org."

Sample Edenbridge tracks are available for streaming via their MySpace page.

damn, I have seen this guy playing with Serenity and Edenbridge at one evening. This was the first time I was very impressed by a bassplayer, he is so good! they should not have let him go, what could the reason have been for his quit???
