Shock rock legend Alice Cooper will be teaming up with movie-making monster Rob Zombie this April when the two head out on a co-headlining tour of North America together beginning April 26th at the MTS Center in Winnipeg, MB.

Rob Zombie commented, "The dream or nightmare comes true! Me and The Coop have been talking about touring together for about 15 years and finally the moment is here. This will be without a doubt a Rock ‘N’ Roll Spooktacular for all the Cool Ghouls."

Alice Cooper added, "I'm looking forward to these concerts with Rob. It's sort of like Dracula vs. Frankenstein, we're like this generation’s classic monsters. When we're not onstage frightening audiences, we'll be backstage trying to scare each other."

Tickets go on sale February 23rd - stay tuned for tour dates.

That's a VERY interesting pairing that I'd be curious to see. I like Zombie and have never seen Cooper, but would like to.

Seen Alice twice and he was outstanding. Never seen Zombie because he never tours outside North America (I saw an interview where he said he doesn't like touring internationally because he misses American TV, for that reason, I didn't buy the new album.)

He used to tour outside the U.S. with White Zombie and that, but I think once he reached a certain financial level he decided he didn't want to anymore. It's fair enough to some level but it's the lamest excuse I've ever heard.

Rumor is this "tour" is only of Canada. I hope not, because that would suck! I have seen Rob and Alice and without a doubt Alice Cooper should headline. Rob puts on a good stage show, but Alice's back catalog smokes any non-White Zombie material Rob would be performing.

0z: that is the stoopedest excuse to avoid doing anything that i've ever heard lol but funny tho when i think about it. it does rlly suck tho.

i too have nvr seen "the coop" and honestly don't rlly care much for his music on top of him just being WAY to far from my generation lol but i have seen zombie and he's quite entertaining live.

Might as well dude, security is so piss poor at shows these days you could probably smuggle a few sheep and goats to the show as well...why stop at chickens

Hope this tour comes somewhere near Greensboro, NC. I've seen Zombie before and he kicked a$$. I'm not a big fan of the Coop, but his show is one of those things that I think most Metal fans should check out, even if only to pay respect to a pioneer.

Come on guys, you know better than that....the american TV comment was stated with ol Zomb's tongue planted firmly in cheek...

the dude's a pretty busy guy, and probably likes to keep his touring short and sweet, and not to complicated...international travel with full enTOURage is pretty much a cluster these days

Both them dudes are classic....I'd wager this pairing to make it one hell of a show for those who get a chance to see it....so have fun, ya bas+ards! :)

Usually I'll laugh my arse just at someone farting or if someone says "poo" but I dunno. I tried watching it with some friends and we just couldn't finish it. Was a shame because I'd been looking forward to it since I heard about it in 2006.
