Cavalera Conspiracy To Enter The Studio In April To Start On Second Album

Band Photo: Sepultura (?)
Cavalera Conspiracy, the band featuring former Sepultura members (and co-founders) Max and Igor Cavalera, along with Soulfly guitarist Marc Rizzo, has announced that they will be entering the studio this April to begin work on their second studio album, the follow up to 2008's "Inflikted" record. The album is expected to be released sometime at the end of the year through Roadrunner Records. The news comes as a surprise to some since both Cavalera's have been keeping busy lately with their main musical projects, namely Soulfly and Mixhell. Igor Cavalera has also mentioned that there is a possibility of releasing a re-mixed version of "Inflikted" at some point and that they are hoping to get electronic favourites such as Soulwax and Justice to contribute. Stay tuned for further details.

I was really disappointed with Inflikted. I remember being super excited and running out to buy it on release day. Got home, listened to it, never listened to it again. Very bland. They were great live though but that's probably because they only played a few CC songs and a tonne of old Sepultura stuff.

I had pretty low expectations so didn't think it was that bad - at least it had cool lyrics:
"Nevertrust - society
Nevertrust - the system
Nevertrust - the enemy
Nevertrust - the politricks
Nevertrust - the emo kids
Nevertrust - the f***ing pigs
Nevertrust - the sellouts
Nevertrust - f*** them all!"

didn't follow MU when Inflickted was releases so i don' t know how it was received here when it was released
but i thought it got some unjust reviews from other outlets
Inflickted was better than anything the US old school thrash masters had produced in 2k up to that point
and there is only one beneath the remains
