as far as im concerned some bands get unfairly lumped into categories they dont belong to..you can always hear when a band has that thrash influence, for example, hatebreed, shadows fall, etc. bfmv are actually a f***en awesome band with infectious riffs and vocal harmonies. saw them in a small melbourne club couple years back they kicked ass. good song btw.

BB: post 11? Well done little one. *pats BB on the head*
Since I have friends who have already posted their love for the bullet boys I will keep this short, sweet and to the point. Hopefully they didn't "borrow" anything from legendary metal Gods this time around.

I remember the last time there was Bullet news and I had a massive argument with like everyone...I'm so proud of you all :'P
Blind: :D let's hope so because I don't want another argument over them
nh: agreed :)
I'm actually really surprised...all the fans and people who used to listen are coming out of the woodwork at last :D

Yeah the name put me off from the start I must say. I'd have taken them more seriously if they called themselves Sheep Shaggers With Attitude. But I really can't stand the music either. If I see that Waking The Demon video one more time I'm gonna sell my tv. Plus I saw 'em live and never want to again. Maybe they just had an off night considering what everyone else seems to say about their performances, but I'm not taking that chance.

^OZ SSWA....LMAO
I can see the name of this band getting confused with MCM and them being linked to them, but 2 completely different bands at the end of the day
^Bg doesnt argue with women...he s a sucker for the felines
^BB i think i remember that arguement, and i gained that respect for you from that grit you showed..hope everything in the UK is well for you
Not a BFMV fan, but not a basher either...especially after seeing them live last year

Indeed, they could go into that direction. But they also could up the intensiy by increasing the complexity of their riffs, refining their soaring melodies, and tieing everything together with intricate song structures. I just dont think BFMV is a good band to become heavier. It seems that with Metalcore acts they either go one way or another in an attempt to branch out. Bullet is fortunate enough to have set themselves apart already in their career, and i hope they can keep their momentum going on this next album.

This is definitely not more thrashy. I have all their albums. However I think one of the main thing holding these guys back is Tuck's voice. Whiny, emo, and sounds like he's 15. They will never lose their image with him singing all the time. Plus........they recycle the same riffs over, and over, and over. Good workout music though.

^^^ yeah BB i was just about to mention that. since i first heard/saw them at the global gathering in '06 i think, i HATED the name and yet i was impressed as f***. and of course, i came to love them and still do. i know vry random to mention, but i once saw them and i ripped it in the wall of death for "hit the floor" i think it was, i can't rmbr now, it was quite some time ago lol.

I like bullet, but for me their problem is not the emo thing, but a complete inability to write or mix bass lines. And too much screaming, but that's just personal taste.
Not a great fan of begging for mercy, but I'll buy the album and see how it turns out ...

#37, too much screaming?? BFMV???? Are you sure you're at the right website dude? LOL j/k I agree with you though on their inability to write lyrics. Pretty terrible IMO. Their sound is good though, they can play...and play well live. I hope their new album is better lyrically this time around.
