Iron Maiden's 2010 album. Words cannot describe my impatience as the release date draws nearer. I wonder what exciting new things Maiden will bring to the table, following up AMOLAD is going to be tricky. However, I have complete faith that they will exceed and utterly shatter our sky-high expectations with their latest effort. Keep your ears peeled for any leaks!
Oh, and I'd like to see Slipknot change the world and define a beautiful music genre like Maiden has, or ever produce a work of even the slightest relevance rather than the trash that has been packaged and sold as "albums" since their conception. Just something to think about, valentine_no_more.

this is great to see. you go to an article on this site about metallica, who some would say are not quite as big as maiden, others would say are bigger, and you get a load of trolls. everyone here is just upping the irons. glad i started liking maiden. there's less hate here.

I think the big difference 'tween 'tallica and IM is that Maiden never once altered their sound in any way to be more acceptable to mainstream audiences. With every Metallica release I hope it's "the one" that puts them back to true form, but you can ALWAYS rely on IM to melt your f*cking face.....If there is a god, he looks like Steve Harris, though he probably still wouldn't have the bass skills.....
