Lacuna Coil Singer Cristina Scabbia Responds to PETA Ad Critics

Last week, MetalSucks' Axl Rosenberg commented on Lacuna Coil singer Cristina Scabbia's fully-clothed PETA ad.
Cristina Scabbia posted the following response on her Facebook page:
"AWESOME! Someone criticized the new Peta add with me... just cause I'm wearing TOO MANY clothes ON in it!!!! I feel absolutely comfortable with my sexuality and body, but for a serious topic do I really need to show my skin 'just cause'? I don't think so. I created a new trendy, though: usually people throw shit and criticize about the opposite! Anyway, the Peta's add is about something and someone who's NOT me."
Axl then replied:
"Hi, Cristina.
"If read this site – and it would seem that you do – then you are aware that we actually have the utmost respect for you and your band. I am sorry that your God-given beauty has continued to call attention to itself. I’d suggest you go the Slipknot route to hide your face and keep the attention on your music, but I don’t want some of your less intelligent fans to worry that masks can be sexually transmitted.
"Anyways, to help you cope with this incredible burden, I suggest you familiarize yourself with this. If you need anything else, you know how to reach me."

I'm pleased she/Ms. Scabbia LUNA COIL Vocalist stood her grounds: I'm not very familiar w/their sound or image all that much. Yet I've seen some Interviews/ads on them LUNA COIL & the Frontwoman of the band Ms. Cristina ..'I quess it all depends on one's moods 'cause sometimes their sexy & other times not but most time/she seems quite "serious" young lady. It's nothing wrong with being sexy/alluring as long as it's done in taste..'many Musicians have that quality both female & male and just sometimes they get feedup if the Media wants to push them over to show more. So, once again I'm "pleased" that CRISTINA stood her ground and said, NO to this less wardrobe change!

If Cristina just posed in Playboy already, then she wouldn't have to worry about having to show skin. Ppl could just download all the pics they want of her!
