Wrestling Legend Hulk Hogan Speaks On His Attempt To Join Metallica

Pro-wrestling legend Terry Bolea (better known as Hulk Hogan) has revealed that he was more than willing to walk away from the wrestling business to join Metallica as their new bass player. As fans of Hogan are aware, before becoming a wrestler he was an accomplished bass player who earned good money playing in bands.
He states: "I was in England presenting an award with Jerry Hall, Mick Jagger’s ex, and she told me the (Rolling) Stones were looking for a bass player,” Hogan said. “I sent her a ton of merchandise that she asked for and said ‘Tell Mick I’m a great bass player.’ I never heard a word back.
"When Metallica was looking for a bass player, I called and never heard a word back from them either. I would have quit wrestling in a heartbeat to be a bass player for Metallica."

Jamez is right Metallica hasn't done ANYTHING good since 88. If HH was serious about playing he could have had sent demo of his playing via an agent to the bands record label. If he is "that" good of a bass player then they would have sought him out. He is way to famous to call them and expect the band to take him serious. Of course Keenu plays bass surprised he didn't try out or maybe he did.

Another thing further to my post 23; Im just totally sick of Metallica skinning off every last cent they can.You definitely never ever get a free ride with Metallica these days which is totally idiotic considering how much dough they´ve got already. After St Anger and the mediocre Magnetic Ive lost interest in Metallica complitely, Apart from slagging them off, which I am allowed to do for free (unless their lawyer contacts me)

RTB post 34 - HAHA yes! that reminds me of the performance of Stand Back in the late 80's at the Slammy Awards with all the wrestlers playing instruments behind him.
anyway...WANNA SEE HULK PLAY BASS??? go to Youtube, type in "Hulk Hogan plays bass with Diamondback" and enjoy. Or look up the slammy awards that were held in the 80's.
