Vengeful Issues Band Update About New Material

Montreal death metallers Vengeful have issued the following update about working on new material:

"Long time no speak!!!

"First we would like to thank everyone that has purchased a copy of The Omnipresent Curse and all those that took sometime to come and support us at our cd release shows...... and all you downloaders....keep spreading the word!!! It means a lot to know that some people out there actually get some of what we're doing. We've kinda kept quiet on the news front because there wasn't much to tell.

"News are: Olivier (bass) has recently joined our fellow montrealers Neuraxis. He's still in the band and we hope things stay that way. Sick of the lineup changes. We've already started to put together new songs. We're working on Awakening, the closest we've come up to composing another Transcending but in a 10-12 minute format.... and we're starting to work on the vocals for Delusional, a song we intend to premiere at Rimouski DeathFest.

"The 4 songs were working on lately were composed 16 to 24 months ago and they shall consist of the darker/moodier side of our next release. Truth is, by the time you hear a new Vengeful song, it's already kinda old to us. Last but not least we're sitting down with our longtime video partner Frederick Maheux in the first weeks of November to start throwing ideas around for our next video. We ain't sure if we're going with Anguish or a faster track but it'll probably be very uncomfortable/dirty looking and mostly made of special effects.

"As for the musical suggestions: the new Nile album is tragically brutal, Paradise Lost have made a big effort on their new album so did, Vader, Megadeth, Hatebreed, AIC and of course... All Hail Dionysus!!!"
