Metallica has issued the following announcement about posting an audio interview online with Alice in Chains:

"Just prior to hitting the stage at Knebworth for the final European show of 2009, James and Lars sat down with the guys from Alice In Chains to talk about life, Layne, and of course their new album that hits the streets on Tuesday.
