In anticipation of thrash metal legends Slayer releasing their brand new studio album, "World Painted Blood" later this summer, a digital press release has been posted online. You can check it out below. Slayer are currently co-headlining the Rockstar Energy Mayhem tour along with Marilyn Manson.

I want a constantly fast Slayer album...Kind of a "Sssslllaaaaayyyyerrrrrr!!!" fan request but thats whats called for.

The last album was a pleasent surprise and this one needs to top it. If a given song does slow down, it needs to come back twice as fast as before it slowed down. Nothing in life makes me more giddy than when Slayer is playing full-bore and Araya is yapping off the lyrics like a p***ed off and methed-out auctioneer.
