Italian Metal Band Sothis Changes Name To Sawthis

Italian metal band Sothis has changed their name to Sawthis. The band commented:

"After 12 years, we have been forced to change monicker because of a homonymy with an american black metal band that has obtained the exclusive right, although started using the monicker later. It has been hard to accept, but we could do nothing. From now the italian Sothis will be called SAWTHIS and the new contacts are:

"In this period, we kept on working on the new studio album 'EGOD' that is close to the release. You can find a new video from the studio at this address."

I think the name change is quite clever/humorous, and there's good reason to make the change as well. People that discover them through their new name are gonna be like, " Sawthis? Saw what?" or "I wonder how they came up with their name." Heh, pretty simple story.

The update was nice; 1:57-2:42 sounds like a pleasant tune in the works.

Don't worry they'll be able to buy their name back. That "made for Hot Topic" crap will fail miserably.
