Former Warrant Singer Jani Lane Arrested For DUI

According to TMZ.com, Jani Lane, the former lead vocalist of hair metal band Warrant, was arrested in Los Angeles, California last night after crashing into a parked car. When the police arrived, the singer apparantly showed signs of intoxication and was arrested under the charge of DUI. He is currently being held on $30,000 bail.

Yes, drunk drivers are stupid no doubt about that, but when people are drunk, they're bound to do stupid sh!t. It's a risk, and it can lead to death. But people that end up doing dangerous thinks doesn't mean they're terrible people. I don't know Jani but it's messed up cuz the situation could have been worse. It's frustrating.

On one side I hate drunk drivers for being such idiots, but on the other it's sad that they're stupid. People differ. For example, lets say someone you care about could be having a really tough time or maybe they're an alcoholic, and they get wasted and end up hurting/killing someone else/ themselves. It hurts to know someone like that. Now here's the other side: Some random fukk could have just gotten wasted for the hell of wanting to have "fun" and they end up in the same situation. That's frustrating too. That's why I'm angry at them, but at times I pitty some suckers. It's hard. But please don't get me wrong, I agree with you 100%: drunk drivers are fukked.

I have lost friends to drunk drivers on both sides of the coin.!
A couple friends that were driving after drinking ended up killing themselves along with passengers in the vehicle.!!
Ive also lost friends that were hit by a drunk driver.!!
I am certainly not making a joke out of this news AT ALL.!!

What I am doing, is being a smarta$$ and trying to poke a lil fun at Jani Lane.! After the trouble he has had with drinking over the last decade.! He should be exactly where he is.!!
Once he gets out of jail, he needs to go into treatment.. again.!!

I too have lost friends to drunk drivers. I also have a friend who is doing some time (3 years) for driving drunk. There are actually poeple here that do more time for driving drunk than those convicted of manslaughter. Sometimes we need to laugh, rather than cry. Crying about it, certainly isn't going to change anything. Having a laugh at Jani's expense hit the spot for me and while others don't see the humor, I think it's hilarious.
