Thyrfing Replace Amon Amarth at 2000 Decibel

Sweden's Thyrfing have replaced Amon Amarth on the bill of the upcoming 2000 Decibel festival, which is scheduled to be held on May 17, 2003 in Bengtsfors, Sweden (180 km north of Gothenburg). No reason was given for Amon Amarth's withdrawal from the event. 2000 Decibel will feature over a dozen bands on two different stages as part of an annual event that is being billed as "the only festival that is totally dedicated to Swedish hard rock and metal."

The complete list of artists currently set to appear at the event is as follows:

CANDLEMASS
CLAWFINGER
PAIN
NIGHTINGALE
FALCONER
THYRFING
DIABOLICAL
DIMENSION ZERO
DIONYSUS
GARDENIAN
PATHOS
SEVENTH ONE
TALISMAN
THE PROJECT HATE
VINTERSORG
BESEECH
