Naglfar Postpone Touring Plans
Swedish death/black metallers Naglfar have postponed their touring plans until later in the year. According to the group's official web site, "the band is very frustrated about this but hopes that something else will show up in a not too distant future."
Naglfar's forthcoming album, "Sheol", is due in Europe on March 24 through New Hawen Records (formerly WAR Music) in association with Century Media Records. A U.S. release through Century Media Records is expected on May 6. "Sheol" — the Hebrew term for "hell" — contains eight "perfectly produced, superbly presented and unbelievably intense songs full of dark energies that take the listener under a spell of hate, madness and despair with their ecstatic guitar sounds, brutal drums and the inimitable tortured vocals of Jens Rydèn," according to an official press release. The album, which was recorded and mixed mastered at Ballerina Audio studios by Nils Johansson, features artwork by Niklas Sundin.
