Obliterate Returns With New Album, "Something Wrong"
Slovak grinders OBLITERATE have returned to the scene after some time, when there was nothing new to be heard of. They recently had their latest album, "Something Wrong," releaseed on Austrian label Noisehead Records on May 6, 2009.
This third album marked the band's return after various line-up changes and death of the guitarist Boris in 2006. The band now has stable line-up, which finished the recording of their actual material. The works on "Something Wrong" took from May to September 2008 in Morpheus multimedia and Fork In The Eye studios, under the production of guitarist Ivin. Shortly after completing the recording, Obliterate was signed to Noisehead Records in early 2009.
The band themselves characterize their music as "alternative grind core." The new album contains 13 songs in grinding, but not orthodox style, which will please mainly the fans of extreme styles as well as those who like hardcore insanity and more progressive riffs.
