Marduk Disappears From Mayhem Tour

Black metal group Marduk missed out on the scheduled Blackendfest show in Orlando, Florida yesterday but no explanation has been given why. A message from headlining act Mayhem reads: "There has been a lot of confusion around the MARDUK situation. They are not playing tonight at the show in Orlando, Florida. What will happen for the future of this tour is currently unknown. We want to stress that Mayhem has absolutely nothing to do with this situation. We didn't have any information about what is going on at all, there were many different rumors flying around, and unfortunately the only thing we know is that the band is not here. Why? We don't know! Thank you for your patience!"

I doubt that Varg has anything to do with Marduk going missing from The Blackened fest, but this is cirtianly an oddity. I am hopeing they are alright, and will be at the June 5th show!

It is true that Mayhem has NOTHING to do with the disappearance of Marduk on the tour. Mortuus apparently was detained and denied entry at immigration for failing to have a completed AND translated visa. This is the explanation that I received at their failed appearances in NYC and Baltimore (Maryland Death Fest). Hopefully, this might clear some confusion.

Never heard that you can just go to the U.S. embassy without an appointment or to any immigration facility in the U.S. without an official appointment, but apparently Mortuus decided to go to the embassy as the band waited at the airport to board their flight. I smell bullsh**!
