"they make good music but I dont get why any band would want to base thier music entierly around pirates"
Maybe it's just their undying love for pirates? Another great pirate band is "Running Wild", now these guys are waaaaay faster and yet they still manage to keep the pirate spirit going.

Shredder: Funny you should mention the band Running Wild. It just reminded me of something; here's an excerpt from an interview with Alestorm:
"Ryan (Interviewer): So the pirate thing is kind of new, but also kind of old. Ever thought of doing an all pirate tour with Running Wild?
All: NO!
Gareth: Not a chance
Chris: Not a f***ing chance in hell. We’ve had enough bad experiences with fat old German men and their fat old German heavy metal bands. We toured with Grave Digger, they’re fat old German boring men who don’t drink and can’t breathe and have to have oxygen mask, and they have limp handshakes! Yeah, I want to get that all in. They’re all a$$holes except for Thilo Hermann, he was cool, but they kicked him out."
It goes on, but I thought it was funny. Nice avatar btw \m/

Jenny - hahaha!...There must've been some sort of feud between Scottish Pirates and German Pirates in the past. Well, I'm not really sure if the guys in Running Wild are actually a$$holes. All I can say is that they make great music!
