Winds Of Plague Begin Tracking ‘The Great Stone War’; Announce Tour with Hatebreed

In February of last year, WINDS OF PLAGUE exploded onto the metal scene as the frontrunner of the new generation of heavy music. With their innovative and high energy style, the band captivated audiences across the US and sold upwards of 40,000 units of their Century Media debut album, Decimate the Weak. WINDS OF PLAGUE are now back in the studio recording a new album, The Great Stone War, with producer Daniel Castleman.

The band recently confirmed their appearance on this year’s Summer Slaughter tour alongside Suffocation, Necrophagist, Darkest Hours and others. However, a big surprise has been in the works and WINDS OF PLAGUE are now excited to reveal that they will be touring alongside Hatebreed and Chimaira throughout August.

Vocalist Johnny Plague comments: “In a good amount of interviews I have done, I have been asked the question ‘What bands would you want to tour with?’ I always reply with a very short list and Hatebreed is always a part of my answer. I have grown up listening to Hatebreed. Their music has gotten me through some hard times and has been a big inspiration on my life so words can’t truly express how honored I feel to be invited on the road with them.”
