Amazing song but the video is poorly dubbed. Her vocals are already mind-boggling and the video makes it even harder to believe.

DIE: that's what i though too, she needed to put more emphisis on the reality of her voice.

While I do have some compliants of the first release, in the sense that the delivery of the vocals in the songs became somewhat formulaic, the second release completely crushes that criticism.

If Opeth was a metalcore band, they would have made "Lullabies for the Dormant Mind". Seriously.
this album is fantastic.

where the first album was dominated by what I label "the killswitch engaged stlye", of growl, clean sing, growl, clean sing, more emotional sounding growl or clean sing, close, this album shows a band capable of actually simultaneously shedding and expanding upon that very sound. while the band itslef has drastically improved on their own as well, the vocals have soared beyond my expectations.

even within this song, while her initial metalcore growling holds true for the majority of the song, you still see slight delvings into black metal vocals(slight, I emphasize), some snippets of death growls, and obviously her clean singing was present, but the real shocker for me was to suddenly hear deathcore growling at the end.

To hear good, talented, progressive vocals, I used to have to turn to either Opeth, or Lamb of God. now i have this band too. Awesome.

oh yeah, and screw angela gossow, i want to put my meatshaft in THIS girls fleshwallet.

to be 100% honest, i CAN'T STAND female clean singing in metal... Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, or anyother female fronting clean singing bands sound god-aweful to me. Now don't get me wrong, Arch Enemy, Light This City, Estuary, Izegrim, and Walls of Jericho are all awesome vocalists. iunno maybe when a female frontwoman sings it just reminds me of the radio stations and all that sh**ty pop music...
(uhoh, here comes the hate messages from females hehe)
but to put myself back on neutral ground, the Agonists female vocalists clean singing is perfect for the music! i've never heard a chick sing with actual skill and feeling that completely fits the heavy heavy music like a glove. i have absolutely no compaints with her singing on the new album at all! and that's a first!

The only thing that kept me going throughout this video was Alissa's outstanding beauty!

On a more serious note, I listened to this band's previous album and nothing grabbed my interest. Does anyone know a good song(s) by this band that might shift my interest towards them?...
