Elvenking Guitarist Breaks Shoulder Skiing
Italian metallers Elvenking have issued the following announcement about their guitarist breaking his shoulder in a skiing accident:
"We’re sorry to inform you that Saturday March 7th guitarist Aydan broke his shoulder in a ski accident. He’s been forced to undergo surgery in order to reduce the damages.
“I was skiing with some friends” reports Aydan “I don’t know exactly what happened but I lost my skis and jumped above, landing heavily with my shoulders and face on a block of ice hard as concrete. My shoulder was broken and I was operated on Thursday 12th. The doctors placed a metal plate fixed with 9 screws in order to maintain the bone. Pretty cool! Now I am finally back home but I still cannot move the arm. Obviously I am not able to play guitar at the moment, but I will do anything to be able to be back on stage as soon as possible”.
"Elvenking will use the services of guitarist Leonardo… replacing Aydan for the upcoming March live dates."
