ap1 - Im planning on sticking with driving... Ive looked over some classifieds from that area, and there seems to be just as many trucking jobs there as the rest of the country..!
Although, I have many years of experience in construction work, carpentry, masonry and even siding and roofing.. Hell, I even spent a few years as a welder/machinist..!!
I seen a story on CNN yesterday that said that Trucking is one of the largest growing jobs on the market..!?

Bolt: Actually, they shut it down at about 2pm around here. Summer makes for long hours in the hot sun. Especially if your working piece work. It's funny that you mentioned TO going to the Raiders. My drummer and I were talking about that this morning and we both came to the same conclusion. I'm sure he'll make the call to Philly though and that has me a bit worried because we didn't pick up anyone in this latest round.

At some point in the future I'll be inheriting half a dozen orso houses and assorted properties...
I suppose that will help out somewhat..??
But then again, who knows whats going to happen in the future... Unemp. is at an all time high.. The Housing market is in the crapper... and I just realized Im running low on guitar strings.. DAMNIT..!!
You know how expensive it is to buy strings for 6 guitars..? ALOT..!!

My buddy(the drummer) and I have a pile of songs.. that are in need of lyrics and someone to sing..!
I just bought a digital recorder last weekend... Tomorrow is when we will start recording..!!
Hopefully over the next few days, I will have everything transferred to my computer and ready to either email to someone or burn onto CDs..

Good luck on recording your stuff man, let me know when it hits stores!

Oh, and kali, my last comment was directed at godlike; you bastards posted while I was typing.
godlike: besides the fact that its STILL creepy that you ALWAYS get the number 69 lol, if it ever got to the point where you NEEDED a singer, putting an ad out in the paper is sometimes a good idea, but you never know what kindof a$$hole might pop out of the woodworks. then again, you could find the next robert plant or Dio that way, ya never know! My suggestion for lyrics; just write whatever you want, sketch ideas down, and if the singer you nab has any ideas, maybe he can use your stuff for his songs, or you could end up writing your own and just making the twat sing what YOU wrote! everything clicks into place eventually with singers, ya just gotta be patient.
thena gain, you could always just sing it yourself? James Hetfield only became metallica's singer because they couldnt find anybody else, and he was the only one who could play and sing at the same time! and look where they ended up....
73. writes:
Kali - Well, arent you just little Miss Curious tonight..??
Yeah, I guess I never thought of her being too busy to call... I just kinda figured that it would take less time to call than to do all that texting back and forth..?? Hell, I spend most days by myself so I have nothing better to do anyway...??
Sometimes my big hands have a hard time using those little buttons on my phone ;-)
Guess maybe I will just have to get used to it..?

This one I have can transfer to and from a computer thru Wave files... If ya'll had one like it
I could email the music to you, which in turn could be loaded onto your own recorders for the addition of the vocal track..?? Ah, if we were all wealthy that would solve everything huh?
Its too bad that Lord Cashington didnt leave his estate to the MU for such usage..??

i think economic suicide was electing bush. he's the one who ended up with 15 trillion dollars after his terms were up. wonder where that came from? correct me if im wrong i thought the president made quite a bit less than a million dollars a year. all that ive noticed from obama is someone who's actually TRYING to make it work instead of trying to line his pockets

I'm not inclined to agree on the Obama thing, especially since it hasn't been that far into his term. I wouldn't feel it to be right to judge him yet. I do however, agree with LordAssenfroth, and lol @ his username.

Inferno- I am going to see Watchmen on Sunday. if you come back here and talk about, PLEASE NO SPOILERS :)
LordASsenforth- Bush was a terrible president for MANY reasons and I didn't vote for him in 2000 or 2004. Bush was the accident that put us in the hospital, and Obama is the doctor pulling the plug on our life support machine. When these stimulus plans fail, which they will, our children's children will be paying for it.

About four years ago the theater by me played A Clockwork Orange and they did some trivia before it started. I won some movie tickets for answering the question, "What is Alex's inmate number!"

Yeah, we also got 2 VIP passes for any show we want. Guess that pays for my Wolverine show at the end of the month:)
The movie's worth seeing. Whether you are a rabid fan like myself or just like a good serious film. I will say this though, they make full use of the R rating, and I'm very thankful. This isn't a very nice story. Not all fairy tales have happy endings. Also it's pretty long and there's alot of dialogue. Just a warning to the ADHD'ers out there. And no offense, my attention span is notoriously short.
Kudo's on that question, I've seen A Clockwork Orange several times and couldn't answer that on the fly. The questions were more about the actors themselves than Watchmen details. They asked what movie Patrick Wilson and Jackie Earle Haley starred in together a few years before Watchmen. Which was "Little Children". Pretty weird flick in itself.

115. writes:
netro- Excellant descrription without giving any details Netro :) Ever since I heard it was coming out I have been foaming at the mouth. Then I saw the trailer before Dark Knight and it made me VERY interested to say the least. Speakinmg of previews, I am expecting a Wolverine preview. Was there one?

117. writes:
Bruno- Yeah, the newest one plays before the movie. While I'm not 100% sold I will be seeing it. Liev Shreiber as Sabretooth is a stroke of genius even though I did enjoy Tyler Mane in the role as well. I have my complaints but won't air them out until I see the film.
I think you will seriously enjoy parts of "Watchmen" but be left wondering why Snyder did what he did in others. Probably about the same as me. For me though, Jackie Earle Haley and Jeffrey Dean Morgan stole the show. You won't ever look at either character without seeing both actors faces again.

118. writes:
I am on the fence about seeing the Wolverine movie, too. I watched the X-men and movie and hated them because I wanted 100% accuracy. I would have started with the original four and took it from there.
Ideally for me the Wolverine movie would include:
-Weapon X project
- Alpha Flight
- Lady Deathstryke
- Maverick and what's him name
- Deadpool
But I ain't holding my breath for all those, hahaha
Dude the more you bring up Watchmen the more I want to see it. Oh, well..Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

Also, when I was getting back home via bus, an elderly man looked at me as if I were the strangest thing he'd ever seen. I was also close to killing many white girls on the buses to AND from said theater. I've never been so annoyed in my life. But the movie was good.

Boltthrower: Awesome pick on Trouble! Is anything heavier than Trouble's "Fall Of Lucifer"? I'd say Trouble's "The Wish", damn I love that song.
Netro: I've heard a few negative things about the movie but personally, I loved it. I loved the fact that it stuck to the gritty and violent nature of the comic - In fact the only real negative about the viewing experience was the obviously retarded crowd, who didn't in any way understand the majesty of the story and was reduced to sn*****ing at a giant blue p***s.

SinceI have such a short attention span, I have yet to bother learning entire songs, I just pick interesting parts and go. All the songs that are spastic and insane enough that they would probably hold my interest long enough...I cant play at all lol. So I'm stuck learning metallica and trying to get my picking hand to catch up with my fret hand soI can play Slayer lol
I just sat myself down though and decided to learn two songs. I can now play Seek and Destroy all the way through to the solo, which I'll work on this weekend if I get time, and f***ing Hostile(pantera) which is as easy as my mother, so I have that pretty much entirely down right now.
I only learned Smells.. to show people the difference between the music that I listen to...and the music they listen to haha.
As for watchmen, I wouldnt care even if somebody did ruin the whole movie for me. I'm told the aesthetic violence in the movie is so great, it's worth it anyway. the dude who made the movie is the guy associate with 300 and Dawn of the dead, so I know it'll be awesome-tastic.

I'm told the ending was different from the comic, but in my opinion, it's better. Makes more sense and flows better within the storyline I think. At least from the bits and pieces I know. Now I have to go read the damn book for curiosity's sake.

Cynic, I read the Comic last year and yeah, while giant squids squashing mankind would be visually entertaining, it's clearly a product of the 80s mindset and really doesn't mesh well with 21st century intellect. I didn't mind the altered ending. My only qualms were one, if you've never read the Comic, you may not realize that some lines are deliberately cheesy. I heard many critiques addressing that issue, especially with regards to Nite Owl II/Silke Spectre II's sex scene. Two, parts of Manhattan's animation were obvious (when he's dressing for his interview). And then, I kind of wanted more News Stand scenery/Nite Owl I getting murdered maybe, but since it's already 2 hours 45 minutes long, I can understand leaving it out.

^actuall dont laugh, that's worked before. The sheer idiocy of that staement lends itself a certain amount of charm that works wonders, if you actually have the balls to say it to a pretty lady.
From what I hear about the original ending in the book, I'm glad they changed it to waht they did. It made Mr. Manhattan seem all at once all-important and yet trivially manipulated to the plot-line.
I do have to say though, I've seen enough glowing flying smurf-p***ses to last me a lifetime. that's a quite enough of that. although it does make sense that a man made out of cosmic whatthef***everthatis would be naked constantly, so props for that one. :P
and yeah, wherever you mentioned it in this huge mess of people chatting, thank you in advance for sending me your work, I look forward to having a good read for once besides just this metal-site. Dont worry, I'm not going to critique it or anything, I just want something cool to read. I'm not a poetry geek like you and cynic are, but I do enjoy a good bit o'lines here and there.

I can understand how others might like the new ending for Watchmen, but I have to say for me it seems that something that started as a percieved extra-terrestrial threat was changed into an American super-weapon that was no longer under American control. I don't feel it would bring nations together so much as become a reason for other nations to place the blame for millions of deaths on America. Almost like America had a walking Chernobyl that decided to explode in several places at once.
I'm definately not saying my point of view is 100% correct. It could easily be argued. And after a few days to let it all sink in I can see many reasons the ending was changed how it was. However, I just feel that it could be considered a testimony to how weak one nation had become without it's omnipotent failsafe. Still, as I said, the arguement for the opposite isn't without it's merit. I'll have to wait and see the extended version.
Hope this all makes sense. Been drinking for a few hours :)

^that's an interesting point I hadnt considered, but then again, I think that criticism of logical inconsitency can be placated by the fact that it was portrayed in the movie, that America's superweopon, attacked America first(New York). So if anything, like a 9/11 event, we would get a worldwide pity vote.
I still dont think something as simple as "super-threat with omnipotency and the ability to alter matter at will" would salve soviet and US relations, let alone the world in that short amount o ftime, but hey, the movie had to end somehow right? haha.
I mean, it is fiction, so as mucha s we want to argue it up against reality, it's not real, and it;'s meant to be fanciful and unrealistic. Overanalyzing a movie about superheroes, evena s great as watchmen was, can take away the fun of it if you persist. I liked it, I thought it was badass, I think that's waht matters most; and I hope other superhero movies recognize how many boundaries and rules in movies were broken just now, and take a hint that not everybody saves the day, all the time.
Forgive me If I ramble. I too am a bit drunk lol I'm sure I'll disagree with half my points in the morning haha

Jenny: Ha sweet - nothing like a free day, you have anything planned?
DeathInEye: I'd agree - although I thought the Nixon could have been better done, was slightly to much of a caricature. Have you read The Dark Knight Returns? Netromancer recommended it to me and it had the greatest rendition of an American president, completely repulsive right wing lunacy and yet funny and proving a point at the same time.

I'm always going to over-analyze any movie I watch. Comic Book or otherwise. I've never been one for mindless entertainment. The movies I don't like are the ones I don't think about after. And having read the book several times I'm very protective of the source material. Like I said, it can be debated either way. I just feel that the best ending was the one that was written. I see why they changed it, but am not all that happy with it. Not saying I didn't enjoy the movie.
226. writes:
Can you explain your interpretation of the ending in the Comic a bit more Netro? I only saw the squids as: One, a physical representation of the concept that Moore/Veidt used to destroy the cities, Two, an extension of Veidt's flamboyant, holier than thou personality, and Three, a product of the 80s drug induced sci-fi fascination.
My only problem with both actually, is the fact that we as humanity have experienced mass-killings before, and they resulted in short-lived peace, but eventually the hate resurfaces and boils until it happens again. Why is this situation different? Is it? Is this why Dr. Manhattan leaves?

230. writes:
In the book the squid looking creatures are understood by the governments of each affected nation to be Extra-terrestrial in origin. The deaths result from the pychic backlash when it is teleported to the targeted cities. I'm not saying I want the squid in the movie, though I wouldn't mind it, I understand why it was taken out.
In the book, however, Jon leaves because he no longer relates to humanity on the human level, instead taking off for another galaxy presumably to become something like a god. I think the endings are both close enough in their message to work, but by framing Dr. Manhattan I feel it cheapens the reason behind him leaving, implicating that instead of trancending the human experience, he leaves because he is seen as a mass murderer. Again, the results work despite the change. I guess it's just how I am about story changes when making a film from an existing piece of literature. I'm never really happy with any changes, though I understand them.
There's no difference that makes me completely dislike the movie, in fact I really enjoyed it. And this isn't a rant, just discussing aspects of it. I'll probably watch it again at the IMAX, and I plan on buying it as soon as I can. Can't wait to see the director's cut. What Zack Snyder got right in the film, he REALLY got right.
And to my earlier post, sorry if that sounded jerky, it wasn't intended.

Your previous post didn't sound jerky at all Netro. I'm sorry if mine came off as reactionary. I simply was unsure of what your reasoning/interpretation was. I can see your point about Dr. Manhattan's dejection with humanity, and agree. I really hate seeing the blame placed on him as he is my favorite character. I actually relate to the big bald blue man. I'm picky about books-to-movies as well. I'm loving this discussion actually.

Yeah, same here.
Have to say Nite-Owl is my favorite. I tend to identify with the more heroic characters in most movies. Don't get me wrong, I love the ideas behind all the characters. It's like a big grab bag full of human dysfunction and each character had to pick one.
My take on Nite-Owl is that he never wanted to be anything other than a hero, and when that was taken from him it shook his self-image to the core. As Dan Dreiberg he's only half a person. It's only when he is Nite-Owl that he feels empowered and able to take on any problem that comes his way. Patrick Wilson showed that very well. After he decides to become Nite-Owl again his whole demeanor changes. Even out of the costume you can see the confidence in the way he speaks and carries himself.

Yeah, I think I enjoy Manhattan because he and Rorschach really are the epitome of individuality. As I am not a socio-path, and tend to look at things from a logical stand-point, instead of reacting emotionally (in most instances), I prefer Manhattan. I guess also, from my disability, I feel extreme isolation, which all people do at times. It just seems even my differences are separate from most people's differences, and Dr. Manhattan has that quality. He's isolated from humanity like the rest of the heroes, but he's even isolated from them. And like me, he sees that for its good and its bad qualities.

As for WATCHMEN, I would say my favorite character was the comedian. The whole movie I hated him, the uncaring belligerent chaevenist pig that he was. But when it was explained later on how he had modeled himself after society, as a sick parody of it, as a joke, both his name and attitude made sense, and the a$$hole in me that follows a small facet of that credo suddenly loved the man.
Rorshact(sp?) is also obviuosly awesome, both in actions and speech, and as a multi-dimensional character that demands to have his psyche dissected piece by piece.
Cynic: sorry about that, I always have to stop and think a minute whenever referncing one of you two sometimes. both you and psythe are the guys I go to for intellectualist elitism, and you both are constantly creating lines I would love to quote to express my own intentions on a subject. the only guy on here that does that more succinctly is RememberMetal?, but you guys do it more often, so I often confuse which one of you guys I saw in a conversation, or which sentence came form which one. "As for WATCHMEN, I would say my favorite character was the comedian." - Lol, no surprises there :P
A question for DeathInEye/Netro - My local paper did a Watchmen thing with short character synopses - in this it touted The Comedian as a the nihilistic character of the novel, yet I always thought that Dr. Manhattan, with his indifference to moral decisions and his cold scientific view of the world to be the nihilistic character in the set. Thoughts?
281. writes:
The Comedians' amoral nature might be the root of his nihilistic representation. While Jon might seem to care for nothing, that's not an immediate truth. He is overly concerned with scientific experimentation and process. One could also argue he is too concerned with reality on the atomic level over human interaction. He finds meaning in the smallest functions of quantum physics, yet no longer has any regard for what we would term the "human experience".
Blake, however, seems to share Doc's antipathy, yet takes it to an almost psychotic level. He is unphased by acts of violence and has problems relating to others beyond what they can do for him on a base level. One could argue his decision to become a crimefighter stems from his own penchant for violence and a subconcious attraction to it. To be honest, his actions are more psychopathic or sociopathic than nihilistic. Nihilism by definition insinuates a belief that life has no meaning, while Blake consistently talks of "The Joke" or the irony behind it all. While this might be seen as a psychological defense toward his own antisocial tendencies, we are shown later in the story that there are lines Blake will not cross, and a definate sense of right and wrong inconclusive with nihilistic thought.
To be honest after all this, I would say that The Comedian was a person who exhibited nihilistic tendencies, yet was pushed to the limits of his world-view by a narcissistic megalomaniac :)
282. writes:
I guess I was wrong - initially I wanted to basket the characters into their philosophical corners (Veidt's utilitarianism vs. Rorshach's deontology/Kantianism) - but I guess nihilism is an undercurrent that runs through much of the story. Even Rorschach exhibits the quality...
"It is not God who kills the children. Not fate that butchers them or destiny that feeds them to the dogs. It’s us. Only us. Streets stank of fire. The void breathed hard on my heart, turning it's illusions to ice, shattering them. Was reborn then, free to scrawl own design on this morally blank world."

Hey Godlike, yeah, I'll stop by from home but I'm usually a morning person at home so I'll probably be coming to the conversation well late. Most likely after everyone has forgotten what they were talking about the night before. Like this:
Did someone mention long hair? When I was a kid I had fairly long hair for a kid and my mom would take me to her same haircut place. This one time it was particularly long and me and a girl sat next to each other in the chairs and she told her hair cutter that she wanted her hair to look like "hers" and pointed at me in the mirror.
Another time after church my sister and I were standing around while my mom chatted with some lady I never met and she told my mom, "You have two lovely daughters."
Just be careful if you wear long hair that you're man enough to pull it off. Apparently when I was 8, I wasn't quite there.

Just a quick comment on the subject of long hair... My hair was passed my shoulders from the time I was 12 until the age of 26.! At that time of my life I was working for a construction company that wanted their employees to look "clean cut".... They didnt make me cut my hair, but I had to pull it up and shove it under my baseball cap.. After a couple summers of that I was sick of sweating my a$$ off... So off it went.... once it was short I realized how thin it was on top... The next step was shaving it bare..! Its been that way for the last decade..!!
At this point, I truly miss the long hair, but then again... I havent used shampoo, a brush/comb or had a bad hair day in over 10 years ;-)

Thank you for the kind words FAN. You give up some nice theories yourself you know. I too unknowingly had a Hitler cut for a bit, and I'm like 75% german. *sigh*
I can see where you pick up on a nihilistic tone in Dr. Manhattan's demeanor. Like Netro said, nihilism is essentially lack of meaning/purpose, and until "The Conversation" Dr. Manhattan sees no meaning/purpose. I'm not even sure he finds meaning/purpose in his work other than what he's been told/seen (his father essentially programmed his life). To him, his work is more like a pass-time, which leads me to his monologue about time/his life. As moving as it is, he basically says it is all for not. I'd quote but my book is not readily available. The end could be debatable too I think. He says he may go create some life, which seems to imply that he sees something in it, but never says what. For all we know it's an experiment to see how things work out in his new world. I suppose this suggests that something is to be learned from life, and that by the end John sees that. Anyone notice he becomes "John" again by the end? That's probably insignificant.
Another WATCHMEN question, did anyone pick up in the Comic, because the movie kind of ignores it, the similarities between Hooded Justice and Rorschach? Is it possible that Rorschach was Hooded Justice? I seem to think it may be chronologically impossible but I'm unsure and the similarities are unbearable to me. Maybe he inspired Rorschach a bit.

Hooded Justice was the first costumed adventurer and leader of the Minutemen. Rorschach wasn't active until later when Dan took over as the second Nite-Owl. Also HJ was physically huge. In the book they actually show a passage from Hollis Mason's book theorizing the identity of HJ as a former circus strongman named Rolf Mueller. He also spoke with a german accent. If they were the same person that would put Rorschach in his early seventies at the time of The Comedians murder. I believe Rorschach and Dan are supposed to be in their forties.

Watchmen has it's own wiki now you can read up on the character - but one thing you'll remember is when The Comedian says "Is this what gets you off" (or something like that I can't remember) while HJ is pummeling him.
But yes Netro was right, Hooded Justice was probably the circus strongman. There is a lot of fan speculation both he and CM faked their deaths to be in a relationship - as can be seen in this panel with showing two elderly gay men, one with mustache lie HJ's supposed identity - http://watchmen.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Restaurant_2.png

Intelligent kids will eventually throw that stuff off. I suppose you could indoctrinate a person so they never come up for air, and never see for themselves. It feels good to be involved in social activism again :D

I just felt I had to say this: a lady I very much respect and have been working with for a few years on activist projects told me that I'm a brilliant writer and that she'd much rather see me going into a university for writing, and wishes that I change my mind about military work. She's a person I respect more than anyone else in my life. Eh, at least she was nice about it. Though it does drive me crazy a little because of how much I respect her...

I've been letting mine grow since November of last year and so far it's like 2 1/2 inches long. Yeah it's pretty weak but good enough to slick it back like a 50's greaser. Oh!....yeah I play drums but I completely sukk at em'. One of my friends has a drum set and she taught me the basics and all but I'd rather stick to guitars. haha!

I think I am just scared sh**less of what is being going down in DC. I won't go into my feelings/observations, but the debt is piling up for the kids I don't have yet and know they are talking about getting my unborn grandkids into a lifetime of debt as well.
Anyway, I still haven't picked up the new Lamb of God and since I refuse to steal music I hope to finally buy it when I get paid tomorrow.

BG, today I had a fight with The Woman, and she drove me absolutely mad. I lost a bus pass, which is the first thing I've lost in like AGES, and I told her I'd buy her next month's pass as a replacement, but she still got mad and made it so personal. I understand it's not fun to lose something worth $80 and I did feel bad about it, but I did say I'd buy her a new one tomorrow. I think she was mainly trying to get my bank information because she was saying "give me your pin and I'll go to the store and buy a new one" then she got upset when I said I'd just go buy it myself. I made a mistake and I'm willing to pay for it, so I don't understand what the issue is. And then when a lady came here to help me with fixing my door, she started complaining to her about how "careless" I was when I lost it, as if she WAS THERE. I won't get into the rest, but let's just say I had a really regular day with her, lol.

IN, for the longest, I always said I would never have a kid. It's funny how different your mindset is when you're young and silly. I wouldn't want those days back for all the tea in China. Don't look at it as a burden, but something you are blessed with. Though by all means, have fun now, because sometimes, change hits you like a ton of bricks. Also, you can always push for a C-Section.

Haha I think I'm pretty decided. My dad was a doctor and he'd show me all of this stuff they give doctors about the birth process and all that jazz, and I've been decided for years on not giving birth. MAYBE I'll adopt. Who knows, maybe some wild revelation will come that says "Flora, you're gonna give birth." I don't know. But at this point, I think I'm definitely NOT going to end up with a kid.

Heya punks. Welcome back ToG.
Yeah, it's been a bit quiet lately. I've been spending more time with the wife and talking with some friends who live near me but I see only rarely. On top of that my friend and I are organizing a get-together on Saturday of all our NY friends who live down here in NC. Going to be a BBQ, music, karoake, games, lots of booze. Hopefully about 20 people not counting the kids. After around 8 the friends with kids clear out then we can all act like a bunch of kids. Ironic isnt it ? :)
And have to confess some threads here were taking up too much of my thinking. Mainly ones where I make the mistake of trafficing with certain unsavory elements of this site. Won't name names, but it's not anyone who frequents our chat threads. You can all be sure of that, despite some earlier stuff that was said without thinking and for which I apologized. Just some of the more intolerant posters. Had to purge myself of that negativity for a bit before I haunt these forums again :)

Man, I'd rather walk into a greasy place where I can't even understand the waitress. You know, where the flies are buzzing around the cooks and might even fall into the food. I like leaving full, sweating profusely, and with indigestion that lasts for two days. Now that's some true mexican fare.

And I'd not say I've met anyone that made me feel "beautiful," per se, but my new fellow is quite fun. We'd been friends for a long time and he always knows what I want to do, because it always seems to be what he wants to do as well. We're both pretty hyper kids, and he's a totally badass mofo who always gives me piggyback rides, even when I don't ask for 'em XD. And it's so funny how easily he can express himself when he's mad/upset, but when he's happy he finds it impossible to express himself. One time when he was trying to tell me how he feels about me, he was literally scratching his head and saying something along these lines: "Flora.... we uhh... we're good friends...... really uhh... valuing your friendship and... we've known each other for a while so... ummm.... errr... oh god I'm no good at this." He's almost like the male version of me! hahaha
513. writes:
This Sven dude looks pretty cool.
Kali, he's not insecure more than he just has trouble showing his happy feelings to some people. He's always been a really good buddy and has always genuinely cared about me. In fact, and I know this is going to sound super cheesy, but one time when my leg was broken and I was too much of an arrogant a$$ to stay home (as I said, I'm a runner), he lifted me to a couple of classes when he saw me, and at the end of school, to the bus! Of course with my ego, I constantly tried to get out of his grip, but he made it extremely tough. lol. When he was getting me to the bus, I said "LET GO OF ME RIGHT NOW I CAN GET THERE ON MY OWN" and he said "No, you can't" and just kept going. I gave him a real hard time hahaha
521. writes:
Kali: I mean he always has these opinions that lead on to stories about how his opinions relate to that, and then he'll jump off into other things, then go back to that opinion and conclude it as if it were some epic story (which it might as well have been).

Kiwi Fruit juice is Punk because not many like it but those who like it are full on about it.
Banana and Mango juice is hardcore because it is so angry and Apple and Black Current is Metal because its a bit dark and different but still popular.
