Band Photo: Rob Zombie (?)
Rob Zombie, who recently announced that he would be delaying his new studio album to focus on directing, has issued the following announcement about beginning the filming of the Halloween sequel:
"Tomorrow we officially start shooting H2. Although we sort of started on Friday with a couple scenes. I'll update with a few exclusive pics from the set on Tuesday. Wish us luck, it's going to be crazy."

Life long fan of the halloween series, and the 2007 remake brought the halloween franchise back to a respectable state,..especially after those last two debacles,... H20 and resurection which where terrible movies ...like to see this be the last one before it becomes to ridiculous....robs movies are better than his current music thats for sure

Tony D- You made a good point. Even though I didn't particulary care for it, the Rob Zombie remake was the best thing to happen to the franchise in decades. I think I was disappointed with it because I think Rob would have done a great job creating a new story instead of rehashing John Carpenter's classic. I couldn't stand the whole Michael Myers growing up in a trailor park thing but once the movie got into the grown up Michael scenes I thought it improved. I haven't checked out his intentions with this new one but I know I will out of curiousity. If it sounds interesting I will end up seeing it.
Diamond Oz- You are right Malcom McDowell has to be in this. Also, Thudercats is going to be good as well. All the cartoons I enjoyed as a kid are know being brought to the big screen. I was really diasppointed by the Transformers movie, though.
ChessMasterPlan- I can't tell if you are joking or just being a douche.

Bruno: I thought Rob did a really good job with the last one, because he gave more insight into michael and the period in which he was in. In addition, the horror community would have been up in arms had he not not stuck to the origional story line. The next one is free reign now since he already paid his dues. MM is rumored to be involved with this one as well (pleasing Oz and everyone else who is familiar with his work). I believe Rob will spread his wings a bit in this next installment. We'll see.

BlindGreed- Alright, that is what I want to hear! If that is the case I will definately see it. As far, as MM's films, I haven't seen any but I thought his videos were genius. The video for "Long Road Out Of Hell" is one the most disturbing videos ever, like an acid trip gone wrong.

if i get to see baby's a$$ once during the sequel i will buy the movie twice.
RZ's remake was actually quite good. He made sure Meyers was portrayed as psychotic as humanly possible, and when he takes you inside Meyer's cell you get to see what true insanity is like.

"Snarf, Snarf" I used to have some thundercats action figures. I'd love to have them in their original box. I'm sure I shot them with my bee-bee gun along with my G.I. Joes.
Lord Assenfroth-Black Sunday is good.
I'll have to give RZ Halloween another watch. I expected more, but it wasn't a total loss. John Carpenter's Halloween was near perfection. When Jamie Lee Curtis is driving around Haddonfield smoking a joint with Myers tailgating her all while "Fear the Reaper" is playing...that's the sh!t.

godlike: It's off the North Eastern side of South America. Probably the closest big city to it is Caracas (Venezuela). It's south of Haiti. I think Rob Zombie has been there before. lol.

wilco? House of a thousand corpses is a straight up copied idea from texas chainsaw, the couples traveling come across the backwood psycotic family, rob zombie even said himself when he made it he took alot of the movies ideas from chainsaw because hes a big fan of chainsaw massacre, by the way corpses sucked anyway.

lumpus: If you consider the concept of a slasher movie being copied due to the reasons listed above, then you are in for a huge dissappointment my friend. What would you consider an origional idea? Aliens abduct the slasher and he kills on the spaceship? Seriously, it would be very hard to be origional without someone saying it was copied from something else. There were a huge ammount of differences between Chainsaw and House. I enjoyed House tremendously. I wasn't too excited about Devils Rejects though.
Wilco: I don't believe that has been released yet. He keeps putting it off to do other things.
