Marilyn Manson has revealed that his new album is entitled, "The High End Of Low" and that he will be shooting the albums first video this month. The video will be for the song, "I Want To Kill You Like They Do In The Movies."
Seaking about the album and song, Manson says: “My new record is done, man. It’s called The High End of Low - it’s a self-described state of being that I’m in. You’re going to be fucking freaked. It’s the shit.
(Speaking on the first single) "It’s nine minutes long, severely sadist. Basically, it’s murder, sex, death, the end."

This new album may be pretty good. My friend likes everything Marilyn Manson...he has all his albums. I like some of Manson because it has an industrial feel and sound to it. Rammstein toured with these guys, if I ain't mistaken, so Manson is not bad. Unless, of course, you hate Rammstein too.

Manson doesn't fall under the metal umbrella where I stand but the man made made 2 solid records (Mechanical Animals and Holywood) and 1 near classic (Antichrist Superstar)--which was one of those rare mega-popular albums that I got into. It still holds up pretty well as far as I'm concerned...
That said, I can't stand anything he's put out since 2000, this album would have to be a severe about face for me to even stream it.
Now Playing: Evoken - "Pavor Nocturnus"

to each is own remembermetal. i love all the manson albums, but can understand why people don't like eat me drink me and golden age. each of his albums attract to a different crowd of people. i think he's awesome because he can take his music to a new level. he has a diverse range of music. that's why he became so popular. he stands out. in my opinion, i consider him one of the greats. but that's just me.

Wow doesn't sound like the normal me but I've just got hold of Manson's new album "Eat Me Drink Me" and damn, that is one good album. I mean, I'm not really an industrial fan so NIN and old Manson don't really appeal - but EMDM is really an alt-rock album. Manson's voice is great, music is great - not remotely metal but good none the less. Other peoples opinions?

Everyone saying that only cybergoths and freaks listen to manson are full of sh**. Marilyn Manson was my uncle's favorite band, and also one of mine. My uncle dressed like he should be in GNR and I look like just a regular metalhead, jeans and a band tshirt all the time. Anyway, can't wait for the new album, I like all his stuff so far and I'm looking for something else to throw in my CD player worth listening to.

Everyday i watch the ignorance of ppls interaction with each other piled onto a daily grind we all go through. Now the last time i checked music is supposed to be art and an escape. Does this sh** really need to tranced into this? But back to the topic, Manson love em or hate em is very prominent member of the music industry. I own all albums and am proud, im 21 years old and no where near goth. His message is dicarded because of image and general judgment of others about what youre about when a fan. EMDM was manson meets southern rock and was nice not my favarorite but good in a sense anyway. You ppl spend the time to sit here and bash things on an internet site and actually get heated about it, its f***ing amazing. But like most priorities on what matter is something we are never really taught but doesnt change the fact that youre an individual and should take the time to give a sh**. I luv metal, rock, industrial, blues and so on and so forth i refuse to confine myself to a genre with a single mind. You may say it doesnt matter but its a reflection of personality. I think myself better than no one but i dont force my opinions like a preacher like most this is all just a statement take it leave or hate on it. None of it matters when i sit down at the end of my day. So kudos manson ill enjoy one of the only legal reprieves left when the new album drops.

I still play his "Smells like Children" through "Holywood" from time to time. "Golden Age..." had some clever moments but I couldn't get into it. I've heard so little of "Eat Me Drink Me" I can't say anything other than the single sucked. I'd like to hear him tap into the genuine energy of his 96-00 era again.
Now Playing: Lamb of God "Broken Hands"...This one is as good as anything off of Ashes.
