Slayer's Tom Araya and Kerry King have posted a video announcement of their participation in this year's Rockstar Mayhem touring festival. Also mentioned is that Slayer will re-enter the studio in February to finish up their new album for a July release. You can check out the video below.

Over the years Machine Head has changed and re-changed their style, and not always in directions I liked. But I have to say their current sound is f***ing awesome. Furthermore I am not comparing the two (Cult and Devil With A Kings Card), I am merely pointing out that both lyrical styles share some things in common. If you don't like Slayer then don't listen to them. It's your loss. I for one will keep listening and seeing them live for as long as they continue to produce a product that I love and repect.
