Holy sh** thanks for the diligence Diamond Oz. there are alot of people I hang out with who have been waiting for a Slayer tour to come through here, and I think the myspace bulletin i just posted using the dates on here just made a lot of my friends very happy...
...And very angry. Bullet for my vagina?!?!? on the same tour as Slayer?!?! it's an outrage! lol

BlindGreed- When Bullet for a Valentine plays, we will be on the opposite site of the festival grounds watching Behemoth...if Behemoth ain't on stage yet, we will be in the parking lot eating burgers and steaks, enjoying some cold ones...and of course some rolled ones, too.

^you have no idea blingreed. those butt-thumpers are gonna get hell form the crowd of people I always bring. During Lordi's set at Ozzfest, we got the whole crowd chanting "FVCK YOU LORDI, FVCK YOU LORDI". Unfortunately, they thought the crowd was asking for an encore. >:O
but I assure you, these bastards are gonna get something diabolical that will end up on youtube if at all possible. hehehehehe....
Although This does set in with my theory that Slayer always chooses co-headliners that all their fans hate, so that when Slayer finally comes out, everybody is that much more excited. :P
(slipknot, Manson, Trivium, and now Bullet) Seriously, it's just a matter of time till My Chemical Romance is on the Unholy alliance bill....just you wait...

I could definately see MCR on this tour next year and think inevitably they will be on it. The organizer of the Mayhemfest is the same guy who turned his Warped Tour into an all out emo extravaganza slowly over a five year period.
I could see also Coheed and Cambria on this tour next year because in the eyes of that Lyman asswipe C & C now have "metal credit" because they are opening for Slipknot this year.

oh fine, they just rebroke, ahem, fixed my nose sunday, and it should be mostly healed by friday. i just cant leave the house till then because of blood loss, and I cant be very physical or else it could shoot right back outta place fom just turning too fast....sucks asssss. hence, I am probably going to be on MU a lot during the day for the next 3 or 4 days...as opposed to normaly getting home at midnight and leaving my few occasional witty comments and leaving haha.
Now that I look at this whole tour though...I am soooo 50/50 on it.
SLAYER!!!!!!
Behemoth
Cannibal Corpse
Whitechapel are alright as far as deathcore goes I hear..
Black Dahlia are hilarious, and not that bad really musically so alright...
AND Trivium, as much as I hate them, put on a good show, so I'm fine with that...
BULLET FOR MY FVCKING VAGINA
Job for a cowboy- the entire reason i hate deathcore
All that remains- the entire reason I hate metalcore
God Forbid- cant stand them. no idea why. Not bagging on them, just cant stand em..
manson- uhhhh....do i really have to explain why i hate manson?
oh yeah, and BULLET FOR MY FVCKING VAGINA. I just cant express enough my hatred for this band. They are literally my anti-slayer. Everything that Slayer represents that is good about metal is everything that this band makes look bad about metal. I hate them. did I mention I hate them?

FAN: I think it's all going to depend on who is where and when. Last years Mayhem only had a few snags for me, but overall, I was able to avoid Dragonforce and the other assclowns on the tour and see who I went to see. Since BFMV is on the main stage, i'm betting they'll be first on the main stage and that means Bruno and I will probably still be at one of the other stages or on our way to the nearest beer stand on our way to the main stage.

^haha yeah i noticed that too db. why are the bands most heavily supported by hot topic not on the hottopic stage, while the few heavy hitting metal bands on the bill are on it instead? Somebody missed a memo. lol
BG- yeah, i had sort of the same deal goin for me last year too. whenever a band came on I didnt like, off to the free Energy drink booth! I guess some bands are gonna get that treatment this year too haha.
Bruno- holy crap I hope to god ur wrong. CC on mayhem next year? I wouldhave to kick a puppy or something to make up for how gay that would be.

'Behemoth will also play with Slayer on their 3-week pre-Mayhem Festival tour. That tour will include a dates on „B-markets” – smaller cities which the Mayhem Festival will not reach. We will update you with the dates and more information real soon. '

Well actually, the reason why Manson probably wouldn't want to tour with NIN is because Trent and Brian (AKA Marilyn Manson) have some legal issues. I think the story was that Trent owns the legal rights to Manson's first 3 albums, but I'm not completely sure.

whats actually really funny... lordi got destroyed in philly. literally everyone was booing them the whole set. thats amazing that its wide spread hate haha. i started the booing of trivum at the lamb of god show in philly also. i cant wait to do it all in one show

Manson sucks....damn....he or she whatever the f**k that freakshow is is so overrated , ah man, disapointing to see that on this bill, but other than that, solid bill,....u compare last years bill compared to this years.....damn....this is a good metal festival....not great, but maybe the best in the states in quite sometime......san bernadino ca here i come

i agree that manson sucks and want to say slayer sucks too for me.. i dont like their sh**ty music... all i hear from slayer is fast riffs that dont go together and some sh**ty repetitive soloes that are all over the place... i think slayer is overrated.... i just like lombardo.... i am not a tallica fan but if u compare regin in sh** with master of puppets you'll find out that mop is superior.... slayer doesnt have technical talents .... listen to christ illusion.... it's hilarious that the songs supremist , black serenade, eyes of the insane and catatonic are the same in some ways... i just liked flesh storm and a little catalyst from that... I HATE KERRY KING he is a bald idiot ...talking about the same thing in every album is just as sh** but they do it..... anyway f uck slayer.....
51. writes:
Yeah, "i am not a tallica fan"... Speaks volumes. Furthermore, "if u compare regin in sh** with master of puppets you'll find out that mop is superior.... slayer doesnt have technical talents". Intersting statement, rediculous, but interesting just the same. I don't believe the two are comparable (much like apples and oranges). Obviously this "person" has never seen Slayer live. As I've said before, if you don't get it; maybe it wasn't meant for you. To each his/her own. Slayer fvcking rules!!!

Good Morning BlindGreed! MayhemFest update:
I just found out that the Special Guest on the Main Stage is Killswitch Engage. Not my cup of tea, but I know a few friends who are into them. ! I don't know if they will be playing before or after that Valentine Bullet band.

Hell yeah. Last year's Hot Topic stage was BULLsh**. This year it's nothing but brutal death metal. And Trivium, ATR, & God Forbid ON THE SAME STAGE is amazing and of course Slayer is still f***IN' SLAYER. July 26th is gonna be insane. Stay (Sic) my friends NP: "Old" by Machine Head

"f*** YOU TOO at least slayer has not sold out"
umm Kerry did a song and video with Sum 41...sum 41...and hes on all those vh1 "metal" interviews with all the glam dudes. not sayin i dont like slayer...i f***in love slayer! but they've done they're share of sellin out.

Slayer alone is enough to get me to a show, and having cannibal corpse, behemoth, the black dahlia murder... this concerts gonna be f***ing nuts! and even thougth theres some questionable bands, your never gonna get completely rid of them on a monster tour like this with mainstream sponsers. the way i see it, theres way more extreme metal than i would have ever expected so its a for sure win for all of us

i can't wait!!!!!!!!!! i will be at the seattle july 14th show! it's a 4 hour drive for me but no way i'll be missing it. i've wanted to see manson for a long time now. i know my husband will wanna see cannibal corpse and slayer. last summers with slipknot was so fun at the seattle show

The Hot Topic Stage is absolutely f ucking amazing. Whitechapel, Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, and TBDM all on one stage! That's amazing.
The Jager Stage is pretty awesome too, Its gonna be hard for me to choice who to see when they play at the same time. XD.
The Main Stage is decent, decent because of Slayer. f*** BFMV, I'll definitely be skipping them to see another band, I'd see Killswitch again, as long as Adam D. is wearing his cape and talking about f***ing people's mothers. Manson, I'd see just so that I could say I've seen him. I heard he puts on an awesome show, so why not?
An awesome line up for a festival. The Hot Topic Stage is what I'm REALLY going for though.

It would be killer to see Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth and Slayer on the same set, however is it worth sitting through all those other bands..........I really don't know I guess ticket prices will decide for me.
