Rob Zombie has announced that, although his brand new studio album is finished, he will not release it until the of the summer. This is because he wants to focus on shooting his new movie, "Halloween 2" which begins filming in March and is expected to be released in cinemas by August. Zombie has said he feels that releasing the new album soon would make his schedule too busy.

I'm not surprised but I won't mind if the film's decent. I only saw his Halloween movie the other day and I really enjoyed it. Hopefully Malcom McDowell will be back in the next one too.

Looking forward to some new stuff of his but wish he would release the album alot sooner,I guess for now his new song war zone will be enough to tide me over.

I'm not particularly impressed with "War Zone", the guitar work is alright but something about the way Zombie delivers the lyrics bugs me. I really hope the new cd is closer to Hellbilly rather than the later stuff. I agree with Oz, Malcom McDowell is a tremendous actor and it would be great to see him back in H2

Judging by Zombie's passion for decent horror flicks, I doubt he would be too keen on switching actors? I'm not a horror fan so I've never seen his movies.

I agree with post 5... i hope this new album is more like Hellbilly... I lost interest in Rob Zombie after Educated Horses... I havent seen Halloween, but ive heard its good... But after House of 1000 Corpses i was dissapointed with The Devils Rejects... Maybe after he does something good, he shouldnt do anything after it... lol
