All the albums by Devil Driver are awesome, IMO. Each one gets progressively more technical, but still brutal and heavy, as hell, with a constant sick groove to it....I love it! I still get a kick out of hearing Coal Chamber, too. It will be really hard for DD to top the LAST KIND WORDS.

Porcupine: As decent as I thought heir first album was, even the band admits it was sloppy compared to their later work. Apparently they had no equipment to practice anything on,(some sort of retarted mix-up situation) they just wrote all the music down and then recorded it in the studio.
Fury of our makers hand was excellent, and the last kind words was just as good(their more recent)
like Tx said, they continue to get more technical, while continuing their same signature sound, and Dez's vocals, IMO, have improved drastically since Coal chamber, as well as his lyricism, so The last kind words, i would say, is at least worth a checkout, if not a pickup, unless you wanted to wait for the next album...

Fury and Last Kind Words were so good IMO. Can't wait to hear what they come up with.
