Abigail Williams has announced a string of headlining tour dates in North America beginning at the end of this month. Joining them will be Rose Funeral, Burning The Masses and The Breathing Process.

The tour dates are as follows:

Thing about these guys is I really like the heavy gothic sound. Not on board with the screamo vocalist, though. If the vocals were toned down a bit and (I'm going to get bashed for this) more intelligible...

You seem to have a lot of genre confusion going on buddy. Their orchestration is more classical than anything, considering their ex-keyboardist Ashley was classically trained. As for the vocals, I'd have to say he's one of the more intelligible vocalists inside the melodic black metal genre.

Don't confuse screaming with screamo. Screamo has a distinct whine to their style of "harsh" vocals. Ken's vocals fall into the categories of black metal shrieking and death metal grows, as well as the off clean vocals he does.

Well, all sub-genres aside, that's really how I feel about it. Gothic/Classical, Screaming/Screamo, honestly whatever label fits, apply here. No offense to anyone who likes them. I like the music, but can't seem to get into the vocals.

I don't understand where the Black Dahlia Murder comment came from either. Last I knew BDM didn't use synths or cleans vocals? I think I missed BDM's last album though. However, if I had to compare AW to another band it'd be a mix of Dimmu Borgir/Graveworm.
