Orange Goblin To Enter The Studio In May

Orange Goblin will enter a recording studio in London at the end of May 2009 to record what will be their 7th studio album and first for new label Candlelight.

Production on this one will be handled by Sanford Parker who has recently produced albums by the likes of NACHTMYSTIUM, LAIR OF THE MINOTAUR, PELICAN, RWAKE, UNEARTHLY TRANCE, VENEMOUS CONCEPT, MINSK, BURIED AT SEA and more.

Orange Goblin vocalist Ben Ward said, "We are excited at the prospect of working with Sanford, we are all big fans of his work with bands like Pelican, Nachtmystium, and Lair Of The Minotaur, and I'm sure he will add a new element to what we do in Orange Goblin. It's inspiring to work with someone new that 'gets' exactly what we are about and Sanford's enthusiasm to work with us made him an obvious choice!"

The album should be due for release in September 2009.

If you want some more stoner/doom rock bands.. with FREE mp3's, check out stonerrock.com. Thousands of free songs. A lot of it's crap, but there are some great bands there too. They've got like 10 Orange Goblin songs on there, too.

Sounds bad ass....is it like internet radio? I like to browse the internet for great music.
You should out Pandora too. It is a cool way to customize your listening preferences.
