I think some of those that don't like it probably didn't know some of the tricks to the game and probably didn't group much or get involved in a good Guild. Using voice chat also makes it a lot more fun. I love playing with people from all over the world. If you give the game a chance and get to level 30 I think you'll really like it. The game really changes once you get to 30. I'll admit that the first ten levels aren't that fun - but if you do the quests and get through it you'll have a great time. Also using the various guides for choosing your character helps - try a tank (warrior) and caster or a combo class to see what you like. I don’t know anyone that really gave the game a chance that didn't end up really addicted. I know a lot of non-gamers that even got into it. There are a lot of resources on the Web for anything that is confusing and you get the hang of it pretty quickly.

branded, the thing about WoW, is that once you get into the game, like past level 30, it gets really fvcking addicting. I had like 3 or 4 friends that started playing it, and they lost their social life to it pretty much. One of them even went so far out of their way to get a level 70, that he did it in two day. It was like straight up 35 hours or sumtin. NO LIFE.

WoW I think would be more popular if the servers could support it without the monthly fees...like Guild Wars or sumtin. But oh well, I've actually only played it once, depending on what server you get in, it gets more interesting/addicting.

ap, get madden 09 and ncaa 09. Can bring your rookie up through the college teams then draft him through your save into madden and play on a pro team. Pretty tight for a football game.
