I've been a big fan of Opeth for around 6 years. They can do no wrong. Love the video.

Is it just me, or am I getting more impressed with their slower material. To me it just flows from them better. Don't get me wrong, I love their fast stuff too, but damn that was a good song.

Honestly I'm much more a fan of their slower material a lot of the time. Michael's jazz-based guitar work can be just amazing sometimes.

Their harder/faster material is indeed good, but I tend to not like it quite as much without the softer.

Excellent performance. These guys have been my favorite band for some time now. And "Watershed" is really a great album from start to finish. Saw them Oct. 24th with High on Fire and Baroness. Awesome show. Small venue so the bands were very personable. Was an anniversary present for the wife and I, had a blast.

Strange not seeing Martin and Peter but Axe and Atkisson are fine replacements. Thats probably the bands most rock-ballad song to date, but it's still a wonderful entry in the Opeth catalog.

Can't wait for the next one, which i'm sure won't be here till 2010 at the soonest...Just spun "My Arms Your Hearse" today actually--10 years later, they still have it.

I was a bit bummed when I heard they had left the band. But it seems both splits were amicable. I grew the sideburns out in homage to Peter. The most laid back heavy metal guitarist Ive ever seen. LOL
But seriously the line-up is incredibly tight. Martin and Peter were replaced with top notch musicians. And with Per on the keyboards... no contest.
