Diabolic Continues On
OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE FROM Diabolic:
"Contrary to rumors posted by Brian Malone, DIABOLIC Drummer AANTAR LEE COATES has moved forward with the DIABOLIC name and lineup from the latest CD release "Vengeance Ascending". After returning from their European Tour with BEHEMOTH and DESTROYER 666, Brian Malone has parted ways with the band permanently, and is no longer a member of DIABOLIC.
"In addition to DIABOLIC founding members Aantar 'Blastmaster' Coates (drums), Paul Ouellette (vocals/bass), and guitarist Jerry Mortellaro from the band's latest CD "Vengeance Ascending" (Olympic/Century Media), the band has re-united with original guitarist Kelly McLauchlin, from DIABOLIC's 1996 demo (also founder and guitarist of PESSIMIST).
"DIABOLIC feels this change is necessary, for the direction in which Brian was headed no longer reflects the true integrity demanded by the Unholy Black Death Metal Underground. In spite of our artistic differences, we wish Brian the best of luck...
"Aantar and DIABOLIC wish to thank: BEHEMOTH, DESTROYER 666, Metallysee Agency, Century Media, Olympic Recordings, and all who helped make the European Tour a success!
"DIABOLIC is currently writing the new record "Torrential Reign" which will be out soon!! We would like to thank all fans who continue to show their support! Diabolic will continue to reign supreme!! See you in 2003!!"
A NEW OFFICIAL DIABOLIC web site (www.diabolic666.com) will be launched soon. The band can no longer be held responsible for anything posted at www.diabolicblastmasters.com.
