Withering Surface Part with Keyboardist
Denmark's Withering Surface have officially parted ways with keyboardist Morten Lybecker.
"Keyboardist Morten Lybecker has left the band due to family priorities," explains guitarist Jacob Krogholt. "Lybecker and W.S. departs in a spirit of friendship and understanding towards each others wishes. The band has no plans of a replacement, and will in the future take care of keyboard-parts themselves." ).
Meanwhile, Withering Surface are busy writing for the follow-up to last year's Walking On Phantom Ice. So far, the group has penned "a lot of songs" and say that it's "absolutely killer material," with hopes of releasing the as-yet-untitled album sometime in fall 2003.
Withering Surface's new album should surface on Copro Records.
