Def Leppard Likely To Leave Universal Music
DEF LEPPARD's Satellite Of Love site reports:
Def Leppard's November 3rd show at Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne, Australia, is previewed in Australia's The Age for October 31st.
Singer Joe Elliott reveals the band's status with their record label, Universal Music in an interview.
Unless an offer they can't refuse is forthcoming - "and it doesn't appear to be", Elliott observes dryly - next year Def Leppard will join the exodus of established acts leaving big labels, exchanging their home of 30 years, Universal Music, for independent status, a lucrative touring agreement and online sales.

your all losers, you have nothing better to do so you write comments trashing a band you dont like. And they dont suck there 1 of 5 bands to have two studio albums go diamond (thats 10,000,000 or more sales of an album)
to pustule: they had more then a few hits brother, they had 7 on hysteria 3 on pyromania, 1 from high n' dry and 4 from adrenalize 1 from euphoria 1 from yeah! and 2 from songs from the sparkle lounge so b4 you trash a band get your facts about them.

godlike: I think you scared crhis34248 away. You're a big cyberbully (lol).
Armand: Besides having a gay username (as Red pointed out above) you are also illiterate. They teach the difference between your and you're; their (which you also mis-spelled as there) and they're in 5th grade. I'm guessing you dropped out in 2nd grade since your taste in music hasn't progressed since you were seven years old. While your at it why don't you spend a couple more years trying to figure out what the fVck the song "pour some sugar on me" is about. Absolute crap written by a crappy band.

Kids these days. Talk sh*t and leave. What does that say about the future of metal... Wait, they were never metal to begin with. I forgot this was a def leppard thread. Did you guys see the clip where Joe Elliot put the Stanley cup upside down when he set it down? He seriously p***ed off some hockey fans and athletes. I'm suprised he made it out of the building alive.

you know im so tired of the rick allen jokes...quiet frankly if u wasnt interested in def leppard u would be reading this article there a amazing/influencial band whos had countless hits sold countless albums and have revolutized the hard rock act we have today if u dont like them u dont respect the formation of metal/hard rock of 80s which from the look of u ...ur all metal lovers like myself so quit whining go buy a album and criticize after u actually listen to the music....jeez

^actually, the formation of MY taste in metal arose from the advent of bands in the 80's that formed because they hated glam bands like def leppard. Slayer, Metallica, Testament, Megadeth, THE ENTIRE DEATH METAL SCENE, Napalm Death, etc...
and, surprise surprise, i actually do own a def leppard album somewhere in my collection, forget the name, so i have listened to their music, and i can honestly say that i hate them. Sorry.
Oh, and that one guy, the glam era pantera is pretty much just as good as angry pantera, just different singer and not as heavy. The guitar work is still as evident as ever of dimebag's awesome-tastic-ness. I wouldnt say you should buy an album, but download a couple songs or something if you can to get the idea. :p
