^ Not to brag or anything but, I've seen Amon Amarth,Slayer, & Mastodon live. If the Unholy Alliance tour comes back to the U.S, they better bring Amon Amarth with them. No Trivium!!...
By the way Irishmetal, I'm not a huge Mastodon fan but they can put up a great show
NP - Mastodon - "Blood Thunder"
^ The main riff is bone-crushing!!!

Jenny - Yeah that band was too repetitive!...
I felt really bad for them because the lead singer was saying...
"C'mon guys!...let me see those horns!...Let me see a moshpit!"...
Everyone just ignored them and made em' look like fools. When they finished their set the lead vocalist, guitarist & bassist passed by me and I just told em'...."Good job guys!...take it easy!" and I shook their hands. Just cause I felt bad for them. Did you get into the pit by any chance Jenny?....

Shredder: Yeah, I wish I did better though, I wasn't in the middle of the pit. I'm so tiny next to everybody lol. I head banged really well though; one guy told me I was a fukking monster at head banging, and another guy told me I'm crazy when I crowd surf. Hey, where you there???!!
16. writes:
Well unless you were at the Hollywood show then, yes I was there. You also have the ability to headbang for a long period of time eh?...I was headbanging for the entire amon amarth set with no breaks whatsoever. Serious neck pain afterwards though....What did that guy mean by saying you are crazy when crowd surfing?...lol
I don't understand?...were you flapping around or what exactly were you doing while crowd surfing that made that guy comment you like that?...

Shredder: Well I don't think I was too crazy, but I head banged for a few seconds while surfing; I guess the guy saw me do that. It's funny, the same thing happened to Sonic Syndicate in Portland. How strange...ah well. I was pretty sore the next morining, but I had to clean the house anyway; that sucked but the gig was worth it. I take it you got in the pit, (if you did) did anything interesting happen while you were moshing?

f***ing sweet! I can't wait for new Slayer. I saw them live about 4 years ago and it just blew me away. I was in line and Tom Araya walked by and I shook his hand and said hey to him, but no one else knew who he even was. I think they were all there to see Slipknot.. not me!
Now playing: Slayer - "Skeleton Christ"

I agree with the religion thing. It gets a little old, I see alot of bands whining about how bad God is and truthfully, it gets annoying. After seeing Behemoth a couple times and at every show seeing him tear apart a bible, that's another song I could've heard with the 5-10 minutes he takes tearing it apart and trash talking any kind of religion. I mean I also think religion is a horrible thing for the world, but come on, we get it. I'd much rather see Slayer return to the old ways than make another CD like GHUA/CI.

I understand what everyone is b****in about, the whole "I hate religion" shtick, it's like beating a dead horse pretty much.
However. It's Slayer we're talking about. it's like Complaining about Venom or Deicide(which MEANS god-killer btw). Sure they may talk about other stuff, but that's their thing. Sure, I got kinda put-of when listening to Cult, thinking "Didn't they sing about this already?", but hey, it's a good song, and you gotta give them credit for taking one subject and making that many different songs about it, that takes creativity(ironically) to do that.

I dunno man, Hell Awaits and Jesus Saves were a bit more ground breaking than Disciple or Cult which were basically the same song. Nothing wrong with being anti-religion (I was raised baptist so I have some hate for it myself), but King's lyrics have devolved into "I f'ing hate f'ing god and f'ing religion and f'ing eff eff!" where the earlier stuff was a bit more thought out.

Headbanging & crowd surfing simultaneously?...that's wild!
Uhmm...I actually got pushed into the pit. I was only in it for like 20 seconds then I shifted to the very far right corner of the crowd. Man I wanted to see em live a few weeks ago but I was out of cash for that week. Ahh....I can't wait till tomorrow...I like scaring little kids on halloween night.

CMH: Baw-Ha-ha-ha! I would piss myself if anyone came after me with a chainsaw !
Shredder: Pushed in the pit eh? I always go at will, but some of the dudes are big and creepy. There was a big guy there, and he spun in fast cirlces, so I didn't mosh until he was out. I heard some people in the crowd say he broke his leg.
NP: "Sacraficial Suicide" -Deicide

C_M_H - Hahaha!...there's nothing better than scaring kids who think they look scary themselves. You're going with the chainsaw technique?...that'll definitely scare the living brains out of em'. I go with the zombie technique. I stand in a dark corner (unseen) then I walk out in front em' limping and making uncomfortable moans.
Jenny - Stay away from big buff guys when moshing. When I was moshing at a Megadeth concert, this huge dude probably about 6'3 230lbs bumped into me and literally sent me soaring across the venue landing in the concession stand!...So please be careful when moshing with beast-sized men...lol

Shredder: You don't have to warn me man lol, I DO stay away from big/fat scary guys when moshing. I will never be ready to crash into someone with the body weight equivalent to that of a refrigerator.
Metalheaddrummer101: I guess he was hardcore, but he didn't kick or swing his arms; he just spun in circles. It was a good sight though. Btw, I don't dig the stupid ninja kicks, that's emo, but I sort of dig hardcore dancing, I think it looks cool; and it's fun!

"the body weight equivalent to that of a refrigerator"
lol!!!...great comparison there Jenny. Now about the hardcore dancing...I never found that to be entertaining in any way...I've never tried it because I think it's for weiners who are afraid of moshing. Just my opinion. Although...I'd like to see what kind of "Hardcore" dances YOU can pull of Jenny...lol

I remember I was moshing in a Cannibal Corpse pit one time and there was a chick in there....So then someone behind me bumped into me and I nearly fell down but thanks to that chicks breasts, I was saved from looking like a fool. I thanked her but she looked kinda p***ed. Oh well...

Lol at shredders story. Same situation. Saw LoG and I was trying to make my way up to the bars and I got 1 row away, but there was a girl infront of me, smaller than me obviously, so I figure, I can see over her, might as well leave her be. Boy did I regret that. Every time I got bumped from behind....well, you can figure the rest. Needless to say, I got the SNAKE EYES.
