O.k, grasshopper, Jen. Rule number one of trying to say a band was at your home: Have proof. Rule two: It is NOT funny to joke about it, if that is the case with you. There is nothing that makes me more angry than someone who says they know or met a celebrity and can't prove it. Heck, give me till the am, and I will produce the pic I took with Wayne Static, and Trip of Static x.

Not a funny joke to me. I went to school with a girl named Amber at Scappoose High School, who would lie to me daily she was "pen pals" with Metallica, and never produced an ounce of evidence. Angered me to no end! She even went so far as to tell me that she sent the band a picture of me and "they would do me, if I was not so young" and the list does not end there either! Every person that has done any reserch on them knows that Kirk is a lacto-ovo veggitarian, and she used to try to sit there telling me that Kirk and I eat the same things. Everyone that knows me, knows full well I inhale meat. The "iceing on the cake" was her telling me that they had my address, and were going to send me a letter. Never got a damn thing, and trust my parents that out of all the metal bands I listened to approved of them. So I am hyper sencitive to this, and liars in general. Glad to know you were joking, and admit it, but still not funny.

Sorry, I wasn't aware of that girl you just told me about. Just my opinion: there's a fine line between joking and lying. Joking is when you're trying to have a laugh and shrug it off later, and lying is when you expect someone to believe you to make yourself look cool. Lying is not cool. Again Kalis, my apologies for trying to have a laugh with you; thanks for making that clear. I respect you.

Not like anyone cares or anything but "Hale Berry" was a few feet away from my house one time. She was an actress in the film "Bull Worth" and the house that the movie focuses on was like literally 20 feet away from my old house. Anyways you guys might not know who Hale Berry is but meh!...I'ma go break it off with a Twix.

I don't have photos, but I have autographs for proof that I've met Tripp and Tony of Static-X, along with Corey Taylor (back when Slipknot was good!). I also have Chad from Mudvayne's autograph, and a rubber bat from Ozzy. I met Rob Zombie but I didn't know it was him because I didn't think he was so short, so I don't really have proof of that, but I'm not a liar. I shook Tom Araya's (Slayer) hand, but he was in a hurry so I didn't get time for an autograph or picture or anything...

Didn't realize I wasted a good Canucklehead T-shirt until later on.

On the topic of meeting with bands and stuff - Mikael Akerfeldt signed the CD insert of my copy of "Ghost Reveries" when I interviewed him, which was pretty sweet. I also got to hang out with the guys from Hennes Siste Host a wee little bit, which was a boon as the drummer is friends with the likes of Dimmu and Emperor. The lead singer of At Home In Hell happens to work at the liquor store I frequent, so I get to see him all the time :) Rob Zombie also partied pretty hard at a bar in my town when he came through for a concert, but that was before I worked for Metal Underground so unfortunately I didn't have any good reason to bother him at the time.

I hear ya. My dad studied demonology, along with egyptian, aztec, and sumerian mythology back in his 20's, and his mom and friends kept yelling at him about it, but it was because he was a born again christian, and he felt he needed to know all the enemies of christianity as a warrior of god or some crap. Now he's just REALLY educated in religion. (still christian though, even though he knows it's all bullsh** for a fact)

I like to educate myself, and people look at me weird because I do so. I agree with you, it's best to be educated about dangerous things; it's more harmful if people ignore them.
