Asra Calls It Quits

Confirming recent rumors, New York grind/death metal outfit ASRA has officially broken up. The group has issued the following:

"ASRA is done. Thanks to anybody who came to shows or helped us out in any way. If you were into the shit you should buy records/merch through Black Box... Check out past/present projects like Vasolek, Leader, Bloodred Residual, Kursk, Moral Degradation, Feces & Blood... Whatever, The Smash Ups. More to come from each of us in the future, I'm sure. Anybody who hated on the demo shit can suck dicks. Anybody who gave canned and/or nonsensical reviews for the LP can also suck dicks. Thanks to Scott Hull for doing This Comp Kills Fascists... Truly an honor to be included on that.

"In other news, we recently recorded seven tracks of what we consider to be our best material. Half of which will be included on a 3-way split with Defeatist and Triac. The rest of which will be included on a split with another band TBD. If any labels are interested, hit us up."
