Daath Completes New Album, "The Concealers"

Daath's drummer Kevin Talley posted the following update to the band's MySpace blog:

"Hey everyone. After having time off during the completion of the new DAATH record, we are back together jamming the new shit here in Atlanta. It feels fucking great to have the record behind us and soon you will hear it. The record is heavy, driving, brutal, and destructive. I can't wait for it's release."

Daath entered the studio in March to record "The Concealers" with producer Jason Suecof (Trivium, Chimaira) and Mark Lewis of Florida’s Audio Hammer studios manning the boards. "The Concealers" will be Daath's first album with new vocalist Sean Z., who filled in after Sean Faber left the band following their stint on Ozzfest 2007.

Decent band. First album was pretty good, pretty much one sided though. Hopefully they will show off some different styles in the record.

Also keen on their new release, should be a cracker.

And now with their new vocalist, this should be an interesting release!

nu-metal meets death metal um would that just about be any modern metal music of today? I know there is a lot of traditional bands still out there doing their beloved style justice but cmon
its either numetal/death metal
or punk/death metal
or electronic/death metal
or pro/death metal
or metal/death metal

seems like the big winner here is metal.....
"shakes fist in air" -and you parents thought it was just noise!

^Agreed, never heard of electronic death metal, unless he is saying that Industrial and Electronic are the same thing.

Can't wait for the new album. The Hinderers was ridiculously good and Sean Farber is a tough vocalist to follow. I'm definitely gonna buy it and see these guys on tour again. P.S. Kevin Talley is a f***in sick a$$ drummer.
