Assassin Confirmed for Wacken

Assassin, the reunited German thrash act that released a couple of promising albums in the late '80s via the SPV label (1987's "The Upcoming Terror" and 1988's "Interstellar Experience"), have been officially confirmed to appear at next year's installment of Wacken Open Air festival.

The event, which is scheduled to take place Jul. 31-Aug. 2, 2003 in Wacken, Germany, will include performances from the following artists, among others:
