I would seriously doubt this rumor is true, but then again if there is any store out there with enough cash to make it financially worth it to a band to only sell a CD through them, it's Wal-Mart. Minus some sort of cash kick back, it would be a monumentally stupid move for a band to only sell their albums through a single outlet.

It took AC/DC this long to make a new album, and they plan to only release it on Walmart (although hopefully it's just a rumor)?
Why would they do such a thing, hardly anybody even likes Walmart!
Why not release it at a large amount of outlets, and make a large sum of money... This is a very foolish idea, however, it's probably just some dumb rumor.
If it actually happens, I'll stab myself in the eye.

I laugh at some of these posts. If anyone is corrupt, it is the gas companies who have complete collusion over the oil prices. Plus, you have OPEC dictating the supply, which drives prices up farther. Wal Mart on the other hand, is a smart business, who uses their size to drive their prices down, thus making other companies compete with them by driving their prices down. If anything, you should thank wal mart for keeping food, and other prices down. Their image is horrible because they put so many companies out of business with their prices, but honestly, you can save a lot of money by shopping for certain goods their.
Thats probably just the financial analyst in me thinking that, but either way, Wal Mart is squeeky clean compared to the oil companies.
I still wouldn't buy a cd from Wal Mart because it would be edited.
