Division Issues Studio Update
Virginia based metal band, Division, have issued the following studio update on their MySpace page:
"Recording on the new album is progressing along nicely, albeit with a few snags along the way as we (ok, Mike...) learn the new software and more about the process than we (Mike) ever expected to know. That's ok, we'll just keep flogging him along, since he doesn't have a life anyway."
"The drums and bass are now done, and believe me, this will give the dude thumping Jay Z in his car a run for his money. The James and Ron rhythm section sounds absolutely massive. Mike is progressing along nicely, and is almost finished with all of his rhythm guitar parts, and then I'm up next. Hopefully, we'll be taking a weekend to reamp everything within a month. In addition to our own gear, our good friend Todd is lending us some choice amps and cabs to have more vareity on tap, including a very rare, very amazing Mesa. Thanks, Todd!"
"We're all really excited about the newer material, which has been slowly cropping up in the sets at the last few shows. We're also anxious to get back out there again, and hopefully we'll have some non-Jaxx shows lined up with some new friend starting in August. The new material bridges the gap between where the band has come from and where it is going, and the new friends are getting us into venues we have never played before. Keep checking back, and come out and have a drink or five with us."
"In other news, the giraffe growth hormone and rogaine injections are doing nothing for me."
"--Dave"
