All That Remains Reveals New Album Title As "Overcome"

All That Remains have revealed that "Overcome" will be the name given to their latest offering and is scheduled to be released late summer.

Frontman Phil Labonte has commented: "I'm really excited about this disc. It's a pretty different sound than our last one. It's shaping up to have a more biting tone. It's got tons of double bass, like twenty guitar solos and more hooks. It's a much darker record than 'The Fall of Ideals' and it's gonna reshape what people think when they think of ALL THAT REMAINS."

all that remains, hmmh, I went to 3 of their shows and they mostly played off of their album the fall of ideals. I finally got to hear them play this darkened heart at nokia theatre in the city when they played with AS I LAY DYING. I even got to shake the dude with the long hair and the beard's hand. Now I can finally go to another all that remains concert knowing that the fall of ideals is done and over with, but it really was so good that they could still tour on it for so long. It's on my record for a band playing a great album the for the longest time possiblt touring and fans loving it. If they wanted to they can play "This calling" over and over 10 back to back and fans would support it in one show. ALL THAT REMAINS now is for me to find the remains of their music on this next album, and listen to it and study it, maybe even possibly teach myself how to play it. This darkenedheart was a really good releaseand to me the fall of ideals does not beat it. Can the new album beat it. It's only a matter of time. new ALL THAT REMAINS fans be worthy of this darkened heart don't forget it is one the best metal albums. Listen to this darkened heart,the fall of ideals, and overcome to see how the band has progressed. maybe they just changed.Ill have tohear it for myself dudes

I respect All That Remains, and Phil has great melodic singing voice..but they need get back to the heavier side..like with This Darkened Heart...the over-use of melodic vocals tend to bring down the heaviness, slightly.
