Aerosmith Guitarist Joe Perry Comments On Singer Steve Tyler's Entry To Rehab
Famed Aerosmith guitarist has commented on lead singer Steve Tyler's entry to a rehab centre. Here's what he had to say: "I actually haven't talked to Steven in a while. We spend most of our time off the road split up — that's just how it goes."
When asked if he knew why Tyler had gone to rehab he responded: "I'm not sure, but I hope he's doing OK."
Perry himself is still recovering from knee surgery.

Hey man, what's up with trashin' Aerosmith? I agree with post #3. They are part of American culture, JUST LIKE MANY other artists. There's a LOT of $#!+ out there that I don't like, but it's still an important part of our musical history. Take Ted Nugent and Prince, for example. I think Ted Nugent is a dildo, and his music is LAME. Prince? He's a F#@&!n FREAK, but he's still part of our muscial heritage. And let's not forget, that it was ALL of the rock bands from the 60's, 70's, and 80's that broke down the "moral standards" of the 40's and 50's and paved the way for artists like Li'l Kim and Snoop Dogg. That music WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ALLOWED if it hadn't been for american pioneers like Aerosmith. So whether or not you like their muscic, we should ALL be glad that they came through and told us WTF!!!!!

Hey, hey. You know what else is a part of American culture? Slavery. Crack. AIDS. You don't hear people celebrating those things, do you? Just because it's been around for three centuries doesn't mean it's good.
And Joo, where do you think you came from? Unless you're Native American, you have no right to tell someone else to get out of YOUR country. It's only YOUR country because you murdered Indians to get it. Thief.
And Kalis, what's the deal? I'm always nice to you and I never slam you. You're one of the few people I can stand here. And I never slammed the troops. I just said I don't support people I don't know. I don't agree with what they're doing over there, so why would I support them? Whether they're just taking orders or not, the strings are being pulled by people and things way bigger than you and me, and I refuse to dish out respect and admiration to people that haven't earned it. Respect should be earned, not automatically given. I hate throwing my opinions away like that. I will never support the war, but I refuse to because I love America and I hate what a few select billionaires are doing to it's reputation. Please think realistically. Just because YOU buy what CNN sells you doesn't mean that I have to.

I dont form my opinions soley based on CNN. THAT would be stupid. I do, however form my opinions on fact and history. Also, think about this; if it were not for the number of troops over there fighting the war and enlisting (wether or not they agree with this particular war or not) it could result in a draft if they did not go over there. Would YOU like to be drafted? We are not over there just for oil. Al Queda a terrorist group are strapping bombs to their chest and blowing up people that are considered infadels just because they dont share the same religion as them. We also took out a tyrant family that was doing very terrorible things to their citizens. Lastly Steven is not in drug rehab, he is in pysical rehab due to a foot operation.

^ I don't want to string the Iraq argument along any more than it needs to be, because there won't be any nice resolution, especially not on a comment board, but I wanted to point out some clarifications to what Kalis_wrath said in post 13. The group "Al-Qaeda in Iraq" did not exist until _after_ the U.S. led coalition forces invaded Iraq because Saddam was at serious odds with Bin Laden and effectively kept Al-Qaeda out of his country (before people flip out and accuse me of defending Saddam, pleaes go back and re-read what I wrote. I said nothing about how he treated his own people, only that he didn't like Al-Qaeda). Also, there is a common misconception about the populace (and recently led to some embarrasing moments for Republican presidential nominee John McCain when it became apparent even he didn't realize this) that the people building roadside bombs or driving vehicles loaded with explosives into checkpoints have anything to do with Al-Qaeda, and that is just simply not accurate. The vast majority of the insurgent activity in Iraq is from Iraqi citizens or their sympatheziers (partially funded and equipped by Iran) who are protesting the American led Iraqi government and the American occupcation of their country.

Shut up. Joe Perry is a walking blowjob. He's the stalest white guy to ever try to play the blues. Hey Joe, leave the blues to the people that earned the right to play it: The minorities. Your job as a crusty white idiot is to GIVE people the blues.
