Movement

Kittie's record label, Artemis Records, has released a statement on the departure of guitarist Fallon Bowman from the group. In it the statement, they insist that the split was less than amicable and that Bowman was more of a "hired hand". The statement also goes on to describe vocalist/guitarist Morgan Landers and drummer Mercedes Landers roles in the band. The rest of the statement is as follows:

'Morgan and Mercedes Lander have always been the visionaries, leaders and soul of Kittie, Morgan, as lead singer, principal writer and primary spokesperson, has also been the entity behind closed doors whose vision defines the artwork, the videos and all aspects of planning Kittie's career. While we wish good luck to former members, their comings and goings have no effect whatsoever on the creative growth of Kittie. In our experience in working with this band, as their label, they have always been completely driven by Morgan and Mercedes.'
At present, the group do not plan to replace Fallon, with Morgan currently tracking all guitar parts for the groups forthcoming new album 'Oracle', which is due out on October 30th through Artemis. As for live shows, the bands guitar tech Jeff Phillips will perform in Fallon's place. In the meantime, tentative track titles for the album, which is currently being tracked in London, Ontario with producer GGGarth Richardson (Mudvayne, Spineshank) and is set to be mixed Randy Staub (Metallica, U2), are as follows:
'Mouthful Of Poison'
'Pain'
'Run Like Hell' (Pink Floyd Cover)
'Wolves'
