"some music was meant to stay underground..."

This Or The Apocalypse Signs To Lifeforce Records

Lancaster, PA based metal band This Or The Apocalypse have been signed to Lifeforce Records America.

Lifeforce Records commented on the addition of This or the Apocalypse to their roster "This or the Apocalypse encompasses a sound that melds the fine PA traditions that have brought us the likes of August Burns Red, A Life Once Lost and This Day Forward while taking their musical direction to a new and uncharted height. Exhibiting a veteran-like display of confidence and focus, TOTA’s accelerated evolution redefines how bands come into their own. TOTA tightrope walks between masterfully crafted time signatures, dense rock grooves and melodic atmosphere. Their music combines the precision and technical prowess of Meshuggah with the raw, emotive urgency of Shai Hulud and Misery Signals: A sound that is loud, compelling, and unique."

Their debut album, "Monuments," is currently set for release some time in September.

Good for them. I saw them with AILD (subbing in for Still Remains), and I actually liked them quite a bit, almost enough to offset not seeing Still Remains.
