This is your career, you have to play when people pay to come and see you douche bag. I hate when people don't realize that they're not rockstars and their careers are short lived. If he didn't want to deal with Dino's ego then he shouldn't have started working with them from the beginning. Quit your b****ing. You got fired, deal with it.
"He kicks someone out of the band every week." Really? Because as far as I know you're the first to go. Personally, I think the drummer is the best part of this band. The singing isn't all that great, especially live! Tommy needs to realize that he's completely replaceable. Nice name dropping at the end too...

"He kicks someone out of the band every week" is a statement about the mentality and working conditions. I once worked with someone who you could say "fired someone every week." He didn't literally fire them (didn't have the power), but threatened all the time. It's no fun to be in an unstable situation (working with unstable, high-stress people) like that no matter what the job is.

Tommy Vext will go on to better things...he is simply too good a vocalist to just quit metal. Divine Heresy is a young band, however, he was the vocalist. It seems like most of the posters agree that Cazares is a big fukiin' baby who thrives on drama, then plays a "sheep" victim when things don't go his way, makes excuses and doesn't own up to own mistakes. Once again, he hired Vext - so he has to deal with him. Cazares doesn't sound too professional, to me.

Ok. I heard Divine Heresy for the first time today (I hadn't checked them out before because I'm not a big Fear Factory fan and Dino Cazares pisses me off, stupid reasons I know.) Not bad and I do quite like Tommy's vocals and after both reading Dino's statements and hearing what Tommy had to say on the matter, I'm gonna side with Tommy. He seems genuine about things and at least he's explaining the problems rather than flat out slamming Cazares. I hope he gets a badass new band going soon.

this sucks..i really liked divine heresy when they first came out with tommy as the lead singer..he was great live..they put on one hell of a f***ing show.. and after meeting him after the show hes a real legit guy.. thats y i take his side in this whole f***ed up situation. Its a shame he got fired and divine heresy wont be the same without him...and their drummer is other word-like..its a shame the other band members hav to put up with dino's sh** now..

man, kmadd will be sad when he hears about this. Well, he's in the army. He'll get blown up anyway hahaha.
Al, is that you? Why couldn't those tornados just kill you already?
Oh, and has that fa**ot metallord learnt how to spell yet? f***ing mongoloid....

15. writes:
This sux that he is gone now. I remember that part on this interview were he mention the bass player had to take a sh** and they played the last song without him. I was happy though because that meant more metal for my buck. But he was right on that part. The guy is as cool as hell. I was hoping they were going to regroup, but now this confirms that its over. Dam this really sux!!!!!!!!!! Bands like this don't come to this hell hole often and now the breakup. Whaaaa!!! Whaaaaa!!!

i think tommy had a great voice and was a good vocalist for divine heresy, but i have failed to see why it even matters who the real douchebag is... and ofcourse he's going to sound legit and sincere in his video; both sides are going to try to get sympathy for their cause in whatever way they see fit.
tommy left divine heresy, end of story-- life goes on. if they are the musicians we make them out to be, this incident shouldn't phase either party.
all they need now is some other giant black guy with range. (i guess that means howard jones)

21. writes:
Crawford you just stuck your foot in your mouth....he has range compared to you or I. He also had professional singing lessons from Melissa Cross, and she said he was one of his best students. Lots of metal singers have gone to Cross so they will keep from blowing their voice out. Tommy is an amazing singer. He can scream well and sing cleanly...I am sure you can do both equally as well as Vext, yeah, whatever. Think before making a further a$$ of yourself...

25. writes:
No, I stick to my guns. He sucks. I don't care if he took lessons from Pavarotti, I still think he blows. People say Barbara Streisand is an excellent singer, but I think she blows.
I don't really care what kind of a fxcking awesome person Vext is, or how much of a dumbass Dino is, all I know is Dino can fxkcing play guitar, and Vext can't fxcking sing, and as far as I'm concerned, that's what matters.

26. writes:
This f***ING SUCKS. I love Divine Heresy soooo much and Tommy Vext had all the potential to be metal's next great vocalist. I just read this about half an hour ago and it hit me like an atom bomb I'm so bummed. I've seen this band twice already and they are soooo amazing live it's ridiculous. Whenever I would meet them after their set, everything seemed to be cool, but I guess it's not anymore. I supposed to see them in 2 weeks with my best friend and we were so excited about it, now what's gonna happen.

28. writes:
Well, Crawford then it is quite safe for me to assume that you HATE Lamb of God as well, because Randy Blythe happens to be a student of Melissa Cross, as well. You know what - it is like I said once before - if you ain't a vocalist - you just don't understand the art of singing or vocalists, for that matter. I took choir lessons for 4 years and it is not as easy as it looks. It has a lot to do with properly breathing - the diaphram, and being able to actually hold a note, or sing with some semblance of melody. Screaming a certain way-the wrong way, anyway, will fukk up your vocal chords fast.

hey txnonmetalhead i was refering to an earlier post that al tried to insult me and another person that doesnt post on this site. Do they have schools in tx cause your dumbass needs to learn how to fukking read. And your a fukkin waste of your dad's dna as well moron. Lamb of god sucks the man juice out of freddie mercury's decomposed ass.

31. writes:
You impress me with your knowledge...ha ha
Don't even attempt to have an intelligent argument with me - whatever the fukk rk stands for....you will lose. I happen to like Lamb of God and know more about metal then you could only fukkin dream about. Go and listen to your fukkin nickleback cds..you probably think they are metal...haha. I respect metal because I live heavy metal..and I call myself Txmetalhead for a fukkin' reason.... I have been posting on here for quite a fukkin' while...while you have been masturbating to the latest Panic at the Disco.. Just ask anyone on this site..you will see that I am a legitimate true metal fan. Yeah my dumbass needs ta learn to reads -don't ya know....haha....you are weak.

rk... rulin... rulin kmadd... he's been around since before I have, but barely posts anymore. He's something of an extreme elitist in the metal world... If I remember correctly, you might have a more logical argument than his, but this guy makes insulting an art form.

I wouldnt really consider myself an elitist i just had fun with the korn fans and emo kids for a while yeah i have been busy so i dont post much. But me and al are in a little disagreement about what is death metal and what is not dm and he hates retrothrash and other things and i got tired of it and I called him out on his website so he banned me which is cool cause he cant handle the truth and friends in general i reckon. Im a lot nicer than years so im gonna let this shiit slide and have the legbrace wearing inbred retard from tx have his day.

OOOhhhh. kayyyyyy. Awkward. Kinda tense in this thread now. It' like I just walked in on Mommy and Daddy fighting and Moomy is crying while daddy's breakin sh**. lol
I like Divine Heresy a bit, but I could care less about all this personal bullcrap they are going through, buncha crybabies...

To post 39 - luck me, thanks for sparing my life. Just because I apparently haven't been a metalunderground user as long as the almight rk, it does not mean that I have no knowledge of metal. I happen to be in my late 30s and have already been to about 80 concerts, so yeah, I would say that I know a bit about heavy metal. This is concerts featuring Ozzy, Ozzfest 3 times, Sounds of the Underground, saw Priest once, and on an on....so rk must really mean Retard King...sorry I know, too juvenile.

43. writes:
You know i was gonna let this shiit slide. But really listening to killswitch on beefroids is considered real metal? Its obvious that you are clueless you gotta layoff the meth you make at your dingy trailer and listen to some good music and stop fukking your cousin it makes your posts dumber and dumber each time your fickled a$$ types.

46. writes:
rk, I guess I just thought of you as an elitist because you were always putting down bands that to you used to be cool- the same bands that I was only just getting into at the same time, hahah. My taste likely just hasn't matured that much yet. I mean, I still think Lamb of God are pretty good. But who's this Al guy?
Txmetalhead and rk - come on guys, I really doubt anybody actually cares how many shows you've seen or how much you know about metal. The whole debate is completely futile, anyway.

50. writes:
to clear up the last post yes al was z man and other names and no i dont go to shows every day in my life but i go to at least 2 to 3 shows a month cause im pretty involved with the indpls local metal scene. You know bands like demiricous, year of desolation, summon the destroyer, legion, umbilical chain and so on.

52. writes:
i havent been to near as many shows as i would like for a couple of reasons:
1. most of the bands i like enjoy playing hopscotch around iowa by playing omaha, minneapolis, st. louis and chicago....but never des moines!?!
2. and secondly, local bands here blow. seems like they all strive to be a more hardcore version of slipknot or a more emo version of slipknot.

There's nothing more pointless than an online pissing match. Especially when it's started by making bad assumptions about what one likes or doesn't like or who's more metal when you don't even know the other person. So give it a break guys. It started out being pointless and has only gotten worse as you feed off the fuel added in the followups. You're both old enough to know better :-)
54. writes:
In all honesty, I've only ever been to a couple of metal shows in my life (I'm 20). Firstly because good bands only come to Australia once in a blue moon, and secondly because when they do, they go to the five major cities (if even that) and piss off again. Meanwhile I'm living in some coastal town five hours drive from the closest major city (Brisbane)... And not owning a car, can't even do roadtrips lol. But as soon as my uni degree's done, I'm off to the city and I'll more than likely go crazy about concerts for a while hahah :)

What??! i missed this, the split, well the album was good. But yeah it didnt seem too promising to last anyway. The guy now is probably going to do another project. Which could potentially be cool, but how is he going to find guitarists better to work with than what he had? I mean yeah he does too much of the same thing all the time but-- well actually it doesnt matter, i mean i cant judge. but theres a lot he couldve done with divine heresy.

60. writes:
I went to soundwave and f***ing Dino refused to sign anything of mine because it didnt have Divine Heresy on it, yet all the other bands signed none the less, including Tommy Vext, i had head about Dino and his ego and that day i saw it,he has talent but also has issues, kinda coincidental he blames any band fights on others

66. writes:
dude dino has always been a prick .. theres areason why hes been in an outa bands cuz no one wants to listen to his fricken whiny a$$ bs . and vext is right about how he's never had to struggle hes never known what that feeling for the hunger to want to be big and to wantto have the best record n sh**.. hes had everything handed to him.. vext will do greatand when u see him again his band will have the new #1 metal song u watch.. and i feel sorry for the other guys in devine.. get out while u can.. and if u guys dont belive the whole bs about dino trying to run everything.. just watch the roadrunner records allstar dvd.. dude denys alot of ideas from bandmembers and everything.. done with this.. f**kin rock on vext

This guy sounds like he's pretty legit. I've always wondered if Dino was a big douche or something after all of that nonsense with Fear Factory. I'm afraid this might just confirm it.
